1 week til surgery

Well I remember when I had  5 weeks to go and I started posting on these boards . I also remember telling you guys I felt as though the day was never going to get  here and time was standing still . Now I only have one week to go and I cant believe how time flies. I cant wait. I am not nervous yet but am extremely excited.  I have pre-op this week and I pray all goes well with my blood work and EKG. I've never had any problems in the past so Im hoping I have nothing to worry about. I've been smoke free for 6 weeks and the day of surgery will be 7 weeks. I Hope that if they do a nicotine test it comes back negative but most importantly I will be safer in surgery and have a better healing process. It has been extemely hard and I quit cold turkey but it was well worth it so I can start a healthier lifestyle.  Any advice, thoughts, suggestions, criticism is welcomed and appreciated so I can get through this journey a little easier. I dont have an angel so I will check in with you guys when I get home from the hospital. Thanks for listening.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee does time fly!!! You will do great!!! The best advice I could give you is to follow your doctors protocal....we all had to do that and even though some protocals are different and some are close aligned...do what you doc says. Remember to sip tha****er after surgery and walk walk walk! Good luck!

Good luck and congrats on your surgery date.  My best advice is to follow all your doctors orders and walk walk walk.  You will do just find.
