I don't know how it normally works, but I knew I was approved before my surgeon's office did because I called a few times a day, DAILY! LOL I told you I am not patient. So, I called and they said I was approved so I called the doctors office and gave them my confirmation number and we scheduled my date. I also, got a letter about a week or two later stating I was approved.
