Hi All,
I am almost 3 months out of surgery. I have no clue what my daily caloric and fat intake should be.
Right now, I'm eating between 300-550 calories per day - I haven't been paying very close attention to my fat intake because I'm mainly eating protein. Should I be watching the fat as well? Any suggestions on the calories?
Thanks for your replies!

You should double check with your surgery center to ensure you are following their guidelines, diet plan, etc.

I think I was intaking around 500 cal a day around that time when I was 3 months out.  I took out as much fat from my diet.  Yes protein is great but ensure you are eating food too (tuna, cottage cheese, egg whites, etc.).  After many months of drinking protein shakes, I got sooooooooooooooooooooooo tired of them.

Good luck!

All surgeons have different guidelines, but you should mainly concentrate on getting your protein in and let the calories and such follow at a later date.
