Aww! Thank you all for all your welcomes and well wishes. I'M a basket of nerves. Can't wait for liquids diet to start. LOL! I will know everything more in detail tomorrow.

It is the only way for you to be successful is to have a great support network.

I think you're a bit mistaken. The only way for you to be successful is to win the battle in your midset first, then have the surgery, follow a Ketosis diet until you've burned through all your excess fuel, then east small 3-4 oz meals based on protein first for the rest of your life.

But this is just me. My "network" was comprised of a single person -- a woman from MN who had an RNY, not a VSG; so we compared notes and all, but the journey I took was undertaken by me, myself. Did not find many supportive people here at OH.com originally, since some people believed they owned the forum and discounted people who would not conform to their ideas.

Lost the weight without help, but like to check in from time to time.

Good luck with your surgery and weight loss.
