What a fun day it sounds like you had! 

And sorry for any confusion...Mike is home for GOOD!  He has almost 3 years (I think, my brain is fuzzy right now) and then he can RETIRE from the Navy.  Yee haw! 

Man, I wish I could crawl back into bed.  Had a rough night of sleep last night between our boy coming into the bed and deciding to practice soccer on my back and then our little girl came in at some point after having a nightmare.  I told them that they are going to have to knock that off when Daddy is home! 

I think the pool may be in our plans for today~depending on how awake my coffee can make me.  My oldest has her pre-op for her dental surgery tomorrow, so my little ones are going to be spending the night with my MIL tonight.  I *may* just get a full night's sleep!

Anyway- I feel like I am making no sense whatsoever....lol. Bring on the coffee!!

Janine sounds like you had a fun day yesterday, even with the smoggy taste.

Not a whole lot on board for today. Our youngest is home from her dad's house finally and we will do our weekly treat to Starbucks. She loves to sit and kick back with Perry and I. Then this evening, Perry wants to go to the Demolition Derby at the fair. So that's it except of course the laundry, cleaning and the various chores of getting ready for the work week ahead.

Good morning all!  My day started off with a semi-migrane from all the interrupted sleep i have been getting.  Then having to deal with slow inconsiderate people at Costco and Food Maxx.  Came home, grumpier than heck and put myself to bed.  We have company this weekend so it wasn't the total quiet I needed but the headache is gone. 

We went to the motorcross last night and it was awsome!  I totally enjoyed it.  One of the darling dogs had an "accident" in the room last night.  PeeeeYeeeew!  Of course it woke me up and I had to clean it up.  Yuck. 

Monday kicks off the start of my 2 week pre-op liquid diet.  I WILL get through this.  For now I am snuggled in my easy chair with my favorite red all-cotton blankie and watching Superman Returns.  Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Janine glad to hear you had a good time yesterday.  WOW a year before she finds out.  That is crazy.  Hope you were able to get some sleep. 

Happy Sunday to the rest of Cali, I hope everyone has a great day.  As for me, I am just mourning the fact I have to go back to work.  It has been a nice break from work, even if I had surgery.  LOL!  I guess I should look at it on the bright side, it will give me a little more structure and consistency to my day.  I am also going to be starting at the gym in the morning before going to work.  I can only do the treadmill at this point but figured I would just start that way to get myself in the routine.

Good Morning All!

Janine...sounds like a fun time at the taping. Its really weird to go to TV tapings...it look sso different on TV. My daughter and I have seen American Idol a couple times and my hubby and I have been to Price is Right, Two and a half men, and Jay Leno...they were alot of fun!

Not much around here yesterday...just hung around and got some of hubbys Football Fan Club stuff done...almost time for the season! Then we went out for an early dinner and that was it.
My hubby got a call yesterday to DJ a wedding in a few weeks. He asked them for the info...date and times and such. The gal told him that she should warn him it was not a "traditional" wedding. he was like ok...she proceeded to tell him that it was her Sister's wedding who is a lesibian...and the bridesmaids will be dressed in french maids outfits, they will walk down the aisle to the theme from Rocky Horror picture show and the Preacher will be dressed in DRAG! After she gave him all the details...she was like are you up for it...he was like if you pay my rate...I am up for anything... He asked me if I would be up to going with him..I told him that he could not keep me away...I am always up for new adventures...and I think it will be a blast! So I guess now in 2008...weddings are coming in all shapes, themes, and sizes...

As for today...just gonna run some errands, get the car wash and spend some time in the pool.

I remember my nephew's wedding like 10 or so years ago and they left the alter with the Star Wars theme playing....I thought THAT was weird!  What I wouldnt give to see a Rocky Horror wedding!
