I began my process in August or September of last year and there was a group orientation class we had to attend, and from there you get scheduled in a few weeks your psych eval and nutrition visit.   At the orientation you will receive a HUGE binder of information to review ad guidelines to follow.

Hi Tami, just wanted to let you know that I sent you a link (PDF) from the Kaiser's online member services. I sent it your inbox here on OH. I found it to be of great help and very informative. There was actually some info in it that came along with my orientation packet.  Hope this is of some help.

Hi I had my Surgery in SSF.  I had Orientation August 27th 2007 and surgery May 12th 2008.   From the Orientation to the first appointment is a LONG wait I think my next appointment was in Jan. Then Feb Then the ball seemed to be rolling.  Loved the program.
