A WOW Moment and a big step

Preparing to run my first 5K in Sept.  Have been putting off actually registering for some strange reason.  Well, yesterday as I passed the atheletic store, I deicded it was time.  I signed up and my package will be sent later this month..  I'M COMMITTED NOW..no backing out.

WOW moment:

As I'm at my home office working, my 18 y/o daughter peeks in on me.  I was wearing a tank top.  She goes "mom, your arms and back have gotten so much smaller" and then walks away.  That startled me cause she never says stuff like that.  I had to run behind her and ask her "what did you say"....she said yeah, I've been noticing that your arms are gettnig smaller, but today I can really see it in that top..and I didn't notice how small your back is until today.

OMGosh...all I could do was say THANK YOU and walk away ( I was gigglnig inside like a school yard kid)

CONGRADLATIONS!!!  It is such a wonderful feeling our kids, well when anyone notices. 

WAY TO GO!!!!
