Attending an anniersary party 2morrow evening...but most of the weekend will be studying.  I am taking an online requirement course for a 3-day class I begin next week.  so study,study, study.....that's it for me.

Good Morning California!

I'm back home for a day with parents in tow.  I picked them up Monday and the RV broke down so we spent a couple days exploring Petaluma while the garage ordered parts then installed them.  I spent yesterday resting and today it's back to Petaluma for my first post-op appointment.

Tomorrow we head for Crescent City area to see the BIG redwood trees.  My folks don't think the ones around here are big enough! lol

I haven't been doing much lately. Just hanging out with the girls. We have just about 3 more weeks til school starts. Four more weeks until I go back to nursing school. It is time to get reorganized!

I am meeting my mom and sister for brunch this morning. I will just be taking a protein shake with me since I just don't want to try new stuff away from home just yet.

Cali- I am running a 10k tommorrow night for the City of Hope to find cures for all of the cancers that occurs below the belt.  6 miles?  Piece of cake.
Sunday, really no definite plans.  We will see.
I joined 24 Hour Fitness last night.  I know that I will be working out soon.  Maybe I will have a chance to ride my bike.  My friend is supposed to write up my training program just for me.   I was supposed to go to 2 bike classes this weekend, but I will have to cancel.  All right, talk to you all later.

Hope everyone has a great Friday and an even better weekend. 

I am determined to get out of the house today and walk.  Couldn't leave the house yesterday So I hope my stomach plays nice today.  Its really gloomy here in LB this morning, but I want to get out and walk before the heat and humidity kick in.

Was planning on going back to work Monday.  But I think I will postpone until Wed.  Guess I was being a little too optimistic.  LOL

Culver City is where I live!?!?!? Man oh man!! I will be in Garden Grove all day tomorrow for  my intial consult with Dr. Katzen. DAMMIT ALL!! Anyway .. TGIMoFoFriday! YAYAYAYYAy It's been a long, stressful week and I can't wait to get home today and VEG out with my NetFlix dvds of Twin Peaks. I want to get OUT, but being broke ain't no joke kids. Oy vey ... 

I am looking forward to a weekend much like that, though. Veggin'. Other than m y consult with Dr. Katzen tomorrow in Garden Grove, I've got little on my plate and that's a welcome change. Singing Sunday morning, lunch with an ex / now friend Sunday afternoon.  Man, HAHAHAHAH,  I'd forgotten about that. I'm glad I wrote all this out. I'd not have remembered!!

You make sure to tell Dr. K I said hi....I have not talked to him for over a year and a half. Good luck with your consult today...he did a complete body reconstruction on me!

So boys and girls...I'm going to be a motorcycle babe this weekend.  A motorcycle club is having their annual party and picnic etc and my friend wants to go.  Call me crazy and my friends often do but hey life is to be lived!!  So if you all read about me on the news on Monday...just know I had a GOOD time, lol!!

Thanks for the extra shoutout Janine. You truely are a special lady.

Just got back from my PCP. The good news, the CT scan did come back normal on the Kidneys, Liver, spine, and whatever else they looked at. The bad news, we still aren't sure where the pain is coming from. She is sending me to have some pretty extensive blood work done (fasting) so I will do it tomorrow morning and she's also sending me to physical therapy in case it's muscular. They did take a UA and I have a small amount of blood and bacteria in it so they are sending it for further testing. Keep your fingers crossed. I'm sure hoping it is just muscles.

I can't believe it's August 1st already. this year is certainly flying by.
