And a Happy TGIF Cali!!!

I know all you Cali people out there who are wokring today are surely doing the happy dance that it is Friday....yes scream it kids.....TGIF!!!!!!! 

I know soon a bunch of us teachers are really going to be shouting out that we're glad that it is Friday. I cannot believe that it is already the 1st of August and that in less than a month we will be going back to school. I am already starting to stress!

The board was a tither with activity and if I dilly dally around, there will be no morning post...I was late getting up...imagine, I actually slept until 4 or so!

So on that note...what do you all have planned for the weekend? Anything fun??? I sure hope so!!!

For me....I am know I am going to Deal or No Deal tomorrow as my friend got picked to be on the show. I have no idea where Culver City is, but thank gawd for mapquest and GPS! I am really excited for her as she truly is a very lucky person in so many ways! Oh and get this....you know the audience...not the constants support people....well they actually get paid to be in the audience...go figure! Weird show behind the scenes. I will tell more as I can!

Before I close....I just want to let you all know that I surely do appreciate you all...you say kind things to me and even though I suck at responding back to all of your comments and the morning post....don't ever think for a moment that I am not super appreciative of all of you!!!

Yep!!!  TGIF!!! Is Right!  We are going to get things ready for vacation, do our shopping and start packing etc....  I can't wait to get the heck outta dodge and just forget about life for a while.........
We're going to Lake of the Woods in Oregon, and have rented a little cabin on the Lake.  It will be nice.

Just a quickie for me this morning as I am going back to bed! I got up at 4 to take Chris to work (the parking structure isn't open early enough when she has to be there at 5!) but I am headed back into bed, I have not been sleeping well and I want to try and steal a little more snooze time before work.

Hey Janine..... did I hear you say it's a TGIF????

WoooooWhooooo!

I smell a weekend on the morning breeze and it smells like cinnimon rolls and fresh mown grass! Ahhhhhhhh....

Not a lot on the agenda. Some zen moments working in the garden, usual chores and errands and Mom, brother Walt, niece Kirsten (in from Pennsylvania), husband Matt and son Gabriel are coming for dinner tomorrow night. Hoping to go see a movie on Sunday if we have the gumption. That's about all.

The weather should be about perfect too. Nice and warm, if a bit muggy tho, but not too hot.

Looking forward to a good weekend for D and I!

Good morning Janine and everyone!!!

I just got to work about 30 minutes ago.  I had to take my niece and her friend to LAX.  We left my house at 4:15am for a 6:15 flight but even with that they missed the flight by 5 min.  Apparently, you have to check-in your bags 45 min. before your flight....Then I was on my way to work and load and behold...a rock flew up hit my windshield...and yes, CRACK!!!!  But, I am leaving work a few hours early...YIPPEE!!!  Not much planed for the week-end...my hubby built a closet organizer so hopefully we will have that done this week-end and get everything back in there.  I can't wait.

Well, I guess I better get working!!!

Good Morning All!  I have my doctor appointment with the surgeon this morning at 9.  Fingers and toes crossed.    I will update when I get back.  Hopefully they got insurance approval already and can hit me with a surgery date and nutrition appointment and we'll hit the road running!

I got Mr. Jayden to the sitters this morning and am here at work 15 minutes early.  What's up with that?  I'm running on fumes today.  With Joe working nights there has got to be some changes made.  I get woke up at 2 am and can go back to sleep, but the interrupted sleep leaves me wiped out.  As much as I love him, I don't want to see or hear him until I get my 7 hours in!

We're headed to the Motorcross races tomorrow.  It's Joe and my 5th anniversary tomorrow too!   5 years married.  I made it to 16 with the first (dubbed Village Idiot) and in retrospect it was way too long.  With Joe.............things are so good.  I think we make better choices when we're older and wiser - go figure.

Need to put something in my tummy - I am having vitamin burps and they're icky!

Mornin Janine and Cali Peeps:

I am alive.  Made it through surgery.  I'm usually the one that has a little harder time. Takes a little longer to recover, Anesthesia made me have some tremors and I bit my lips up like crazy in recovery,  OUCH. Pain meds (allergic to them) we did find Ultram but after it got build up in my system it gave me anxiety attacks. So just to tylenol and anxiety/sleep med Klonopin.  Otherwise you know how it is - just sore - oh and either allergy's or catching a cold (sneezing Ouch Ouch).  So I'll cut it short and say TGIF. 

It sure is nice to have friends that you haven't even met face to face whom you can share with.

PS.  Jeni I couldn't wait to get home to hear what the Doc said and a big GRRRRRRRRRR was in order, that's just bull honky.  You'll get there I just know it.  Love ya...
