I am one day out
an feeling great. I finally got all the pain meds out so I am not so tired anymore. My hubby is being very helpful. He has measured out my jello and chicken broth so I don't get too much. I finally expelled most of the gas that was really hurting to say the least.
Any suggestions on what else I can have that is warm and clear liquid? I have plenty of different flavors of protien drink and jello but the chicken broth is going to get old soon. And I really look forward to the warmth. And the wierd thing is I have never really like too salty food but now I am just loving the broth which is so salty. lol Any help or suggestions to get me through stage one is so appreciated. Thanks all.

Congrats!
As for the clear liquids, I bought some different soups (chicken noodle, veggie beef, stuff like that) and strained out all the bits and drank the left over broth. It seems silly but it really does taste SO MUCH better than plain canned broth, and it is worth the waste of the other stuff to have the yummy soup part. I did this with some low fat cream of mushroom and cream of chicken when I got to full liquids too.
I hope you are feeling great!!!

The easiest and most obtainable warm and clear liquid is ho****er. Chicken broth, while it may get old, will last for the first two weeks. Empty the contents (sans the liquid) of a Progresso soup into a bowl and then heat the broth as a means of varying your diet. The first two weeks are the hardest, after which you have a lifetime to relearn how and what to eat.
Good luck!
