good report at my 6 month Dr. visit
OK. Post #2 for the day...sorry, I"m just excited to be in the place I am today.....6 months later.
Anyway, went to the NUT today and she was so pleased with my progress. She gave me some hints on how to conquer some of the stalling, but told me (as I well know) to look at other successes and not base it on the scale.
She said I"ve lost very little muscle since I first saw her in Nov of last year. She was very pleased with that and said this is one of the reason she suspects the scale isn't showing more of a loss...because I"m not losing muscle...and that's a GOOD thing she said. I"ve lost another 3.1% of body fat over the last 3 months, but still have a ways to go (like another 8-10%)..but she said I"ve lost 1/2 of the excess, which..6 months post op is right on target in her book.
I want to also thank the OHr's for always encouraging me when I was down, answering my questions and even kicking me in the butt when I needed it.
