Welcome Scott and welcome to Palm Springs!!! I live here myself and there is a support group at desert regional hospital, but they get weird sometimes because you are supposed to be a Dr. Bobby patient. I kind of gave up on it.

Steve and Luana have a support group in the IE once a month. I have gone to that once. It is a bit of a trek but worth it.

There is another gal out here that we wee each other on occasion....contact me and perhaps we can all get together for coffee!!

I just wish these dam Dr.'s would work with each other.  I would enjoy going to the one out in the IE maybe we all could carpool sometime..

Ugg I am not looking forward to next week, got to drive back to phoenix for my 6 week follow up.. Part of me is going nuts to see how much i have lost..

I would enjoy meeting up with you two for coffee sometime, i am right down town on ramon Rd.

Well neighbor, I am pretty much free this month before I go back to school...there are a few people I know who have had the surgery...maybe we ought to just ourselves together and have our own little group. I am off Vista Chino...and Kim is still recovering from reconstructive surgery....but if you want to give me a shout and meet up for coffee....PM me!

Hope to see you posting a lot here. There is a lot of wonderful people on this board with a lot of knowledge of the WLS journey. I sure between here the mens board the out side support groups you will do great.
