Exercise Question

So Tuesday I go in for my Breast Reduction. I cannot workout at all for 2 weeks. The PA says I can start mild exercise that doesnt use my arms or cause strain on my breasts(this is for 6 weeks). She had no suggestions as to what I could do. When I asked she said I could use the elliptical without the arm part, but only 5 minutes. I dont like walking it still puts too much strain on my knees. SO my question is can yall give me some ideas, tips, what you do, ect. I have been doing so good with exercise that I am afraid if I stop too long I wont start again.
Thanks in advance for any help!!

Couldnt you still use the pool (when your incisions are all good) and just like, run in place or something?  The bouancy (sp?) of the pool water should help alleviate any tata issues...I would think.....??

Just a thought.

And I am STILL jealous.

That was my first thought and she said they have to be 100% healed and that may take the whole 6 weeks. I could check with the Dr at follow up appts for when I could be immersed. So that is a possiblity I just dont know when.

And dont be jealous by the time they take a pound each out I may be a A cup since most of it is skin and the Dr said I had no fat in them, lol!!!!

Yes, I'd be careful with swimming...I'm having ps next week, and I heard that the main cause of incision infection comes from people taking showers and getting their incision wet too early out.

When I had my wls, I too was chomping at the bit to workout. My knees also gave me grief. So, I did the eliptical...but my first day on it I went for 10 mins, then 15...etc. Just be sure to not do the arms...maybe use your "pinky finger" to steady yourself.......
