VSG on 06/04/08

the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy. Its a mostly restrictive WLS procedure where they remove 80-85% of your stomach. No rerouting of the intestines and no malabsorption. they do REMOVE the stomach also removing the hormone called ghrelin. It is what tells you you're hungry.
I had my sleeve done June 4th could not be happier and am rarely ever hungry. I have lost about 60Lbs since june 2nd, I haven't weighed myself in two weeks could be more, won't know until Aug 14th when I am near a scale again
