WDYET?? BRINGING IT BACK!!!!!
It’s time to bring back the WDYET (What did you eat today) post!!!! I am in desperate need of accountability, as well as new ideas of high protein/low carb things to eat. I got a bit (ok, a lot) lazy during my recovery from my ps. I've also realized that I've been doing a lot of emotional (HAPPY!) eating! The scale is starting to show my bad choices. I’ve corrected some of my issues (high calorie sugar drinks), but I still have a ways to go with killing the carb cravings.
For those who are newer here…this post is for ALL members…pre-op and post op! It’s a way to help ourselves stay on track and be accountable for our choices, good AND bad!!! It helps to remind us to make better choices, as well as reminding us to get our water, exercise, and vitamins in everyday!
For all of you who used to post on this thread…..join back in! Don’t make me call you out! LOL
LND (Last Night’s Dinner): 1 ½ pieces everything pizza from Numero Uno….MMMmmmmmmmmmm!!! a piece of bread….and a bit of wine! (I’d like to think I burned enough calories before dinner by becoming the mini-golf champion!!! LOL)
LNS (Last Night’s Snack): a beer
B (Breakfast): Mocha Frap from Starbuck’s….NO…NOT light! L
S (Snack): None….boy was I hungry but I decided I was not under any cir****tances going to hit the vending machine today like I have been doing lately.
L (Lunch): 4 oz. chicken and ½ piece of flat bread, cucumber yogurt sauce
S (Snack): hopefully nothing today
D (Dinner): not sure yet…..maybe a chicken salad?
S (Snack): ????
Water: working on it….but not good enough
Vitamins: yep…I sure did
Exercise: need to do a 45 minute run today….let’s see if I actually do! LOL

LND: a turkey sausage, which made me sick...joy!
LNS: nada
B: a scrambled egg with a little cheese at 4 am and then a protein shake around 7
S: a few bites of popcorn (OMG I KNOW!) and a string cheese
L: working on the inside of a turkey pot pie as I type
S: dunno? I have a yogurt with me?
D: dunno? I think I'm making pasta for everyone else..maybe a piece of chicken?
S: dunno? Either a sugar free popsicle, or nothing
Water: working on it but behind today!
Vits: FORGOT! Starting them now, I promise, I have one right here!!!
E: Tonight is strength training, 30 minutes with my resistance bands, at least! I wanted to go for a walk too, but my ankle is buggin me.

LNS - A little bit of chicken and 6 frozen grapes
Early AM(B) Protein Shake and coffee
L - Soup Plantation - some salad, a piece of pizza bread and a fat free muffin (I know to much carbs
S - Probably none
D - Maybe some more of the sandwich left over from yesterday or some chicken or maybe just some cheese and fruit.
W - Working on it
E - Not yet

LND: 3 oz baked chicken breast w/italian bread crumbs tomato sauce
1/2 corn on the cob
B: 2oz pepper turkey, 1 oz pepper jack cheese, 2 oz l/f cottage cheese
S: 5 oz peeled apple, 1 TBSP peanut butter
L: 3oz backed chicken leftovers (so same as dinner last night)
4 oz l/f cottage cheese
D: Protin Shake with strawberries
S: dunno
Exercise: yup, at 5:30am....46 mns treadmil, 15 mins ab, 15 mins weight traiing
Vits: yep...calcium...yep, except for the bedtime one
