Getting Nervous, Tomorrow Is the Big Day (I HOPE)

My surgery is scheduled for 7:30am tomorrow.  I am nervous, but VERY EXCITED. 

However, the nurse called me yesterday and there is a very, very slight abnormality from my EKG.  She had a call in to the doc and she really didn't think it was of concern.  He might have me do another one in the morning.  I would be sooo disapointed if I go in tomorrow and have to cancel or postpone surgery!!!!  I would understand, but aaahh!

Anyways, I'm going on today as if I am having it done tomorrow.  Oh, how I hate fasting!!! 

I haven't been an avid poster, but read a lot and am SO glad to have this board to come to with questions and read so many success stories!!!

Best of luck tomorrow...and hopefully they will not postpone it. If they do..just remember it happening for a reason...easy for me to say huh?

Just got a call from the doctor, I need to go in and see a Cardiologist today for a stress test.  They are 99% sure nothing is wrong, this is just to make absolute sure!!!!

Good luck! Let us know how it goes with the stress test! I am sure everything is fine, and remember, better OVER cautious than to find out there is a problem when it is too late!

I am so sorry you got delayed.  But don't worry too much yet about the ekg.  I had the same situation and my stress test came out great.  My surgery was in November of last year.  I am sending good thoughts your way that it goes well and you are rescheduled VERY soon!

  gosh, I can't believe it someone else from Antioch, I have been with this board for 1 1/2 yrs and havn't seen more than 2 from our area.  Nice to meet you- if you want to pm me I would be happy to give you any support you need.  My Dr is Asbun who left to Florida a few months ago.
