GALLBLADDER ATTACK!
I have not been on here in a long time.....but I was wondering? I am 2yrs out and had a massive
gallbladder attack on Saturday 4am ....couldnt breath went to ER and said it was a large stone
they sent me home to wait to see my family md to discuss surgery....I want it out! I hope they
dont wait for me to have another attack. Has any one else had trouble with thier gallbladder. Dr Suh, wouldnt take it out at the time of surgery cause there was nothing wrong with it.
any ways
Thanks

I had troubles back in '89 when I lost a lot of weight. They took it out but it took about 6 weeks from diagnosis to surgery.
I think they always want to take it out if you have stones. There is medicine to dissolve the stones, but if you get stones once, you are prone to them and will probably get them again. So they just like to rip them out and be done with it.

Fortunately mine was gone years ago, but there are quite a few people who experience this after they have had wls. I hope that you get it out as soon as possible. I do not know about medicine that dissolves the stones...that would be nice, but you are still going to get stones regardless once you get them. Good luck and get rid of that nasty little unnecessary organ!
