Post op question to anyone who had Dr. Chin

I know, I know, not supposed to ask for medical advise, but just one little embarrassing post op question.  What do you do about constipation.  OUCH.  I am getting my 64 + oz of liquid in, stopped taking my pain meds 2 days ago, I walk, walk, walk, in fact i even made it around the block today, not to mention numerous laps around my living room.  Is it ok to take Milk of Magnesia or anything.  I called my doctors office yesterday morning, and the PA called me back at almost 5pm, and I didn't have my phone directly next to me and missed the call.  I tried calling back and he was already gone.  I will try again in the morning....ok, more like a few hours from now.

Ironically after having wls I had the you know whats. Today, I have your problem...ironic too....but call the docs again today and get an answer while you wait on the phone....tell it is a matter of poo*****t!!!

I plan on calling as soon as I know they are open.

I take colace everyday and also at times have to take a MOM ****tail at night....sucks....rather have the other problem LOL

I used Smooth Move Tea. I found it in the health food section at my grocery store. Just follow the directions making sure you let it steep for at least 10 minutes. It always works for my by morning. It comes in regular and chocolate flavors.

I hope by now you have talked to the PA and have an answer to your question.   I had to call them twice yesterday and they were very helpful!
