Hi All,
I am 5 years out and doing GREAT ! total loss of 130 lbs. felt wonderful and looked good. VERY happy for the past 4 1/2 yrs., now I am getting lazy and not paying attention to my diet and have gained 30 lbs. Which a good 10 lbs. is okay because everyone was telling me I was too thin. Now I know I need to start working out again and control the junk food.
What I would like to know is anyone going through the same ? is it normal ? any hints, tips?
Also, it has become a habit to enjoy a diet cherry pepsi, I still let it sit and go flat (sometimes) is there anyone else out there doing the same?
I recently heard about a 5 day diet & pouch test. Does anyone have any info on it ?

thanks for any and all advise....
good luck all,
Robin

Hi Robin,
I think many of us become complacent.  I have tried the pouch test and it helps rid you of the carb 'addictions'.  I have started doing it every three or four weeks because I have been finding it harder and harder to stay on track.  What I use it for is a 'cleanse'.  I drink the Achiev Ones for a couple of days and then do soft protein for another couple.  I do well for a couple of weeks, but then resume my bad habits.

It is a lifestyle change and I guess that is what it will be for me.  Stay on the boards and maybe you can hear what others have to say.  ALso.... Don;t forget to join your local support group since the research is showing that those involved in support groups maintain their weightloss successes.

Thanks for posting this to continue reminding us that the RNY is not the easy way out. We all have to continue to exercise and balance out a great diet.

Good luck in finding out about the 5 day test thingy.....
