WHO'S READY TO "TAKE THE PLUNGE"?

I just realized that my 2^nd surgiversary will be in 3 weeks.  Boy does time fly!!!!  You might remember that last year for my 1^st surgiversary, a group of us planned a trip to Vegas intending to Bungee Jump.  A couple weeks before the trip, we found out that the bungee jumping had closed down so we did the next best thing….we went skydiving in Vegas.

I promised everyone that for my 2^nd year, we WOULD do the bungee jumping!

 

The time is here….and I’ve found the place…..right here in the beautiful Angeles Crest National Forest….off of the “Bridge To Nowhere”!  So far we’ve got 3 OH jumpers (me, Gus, and Anna!).  Anyone else ready to take the plunge off of the bridge?  There are NO weight restrictions….everyone can be accommodated.  Non jumpers are also welcome to come get some exercise and take a beautiful hike (4 miles each way) complete with river crossings…..with some guaranteed entertainment at the jump site.

I DON'T LEAVE THE GROUND NOT EVEN IN A PLANE. LEFT THE GROUND ONE TIME IN A HELICOPTER, AND THAT WAS ONLY BECAUSE MY BOSS SAID IT WAS PART OF MY JOB.... I THINK I WAS HOODWINKED ON THAT ONE. I WAS LUCKY TO BE A LIVE IN MY OPINION WHEN WE GOT BACK 1 1/2 HOURS LATER.

IT WAS CALLED A MILK RUN WHERE THEY STOPED AT ALL THE DIFFERENT ROCKETDYNES FROM CANOGA PARK TO SEAL BEACH CA.....    IT WAS TERRIFYING, AND I WILL NEVER LEAVE THE GROUND AGAIN IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, LET ALONE LIKE THEY SAID ON A RUBBER BAND.

 
BUT ONCE AGAIN, THANKS FOR ASKIN  AND HAVE AN OUTRAGOUS TIME JUMPING AND WITH ALL YOUR FRIENDS THAT DAY TO CELEBRATE YOUR SECOND YEAR SURGIVERSARY!!!

I'll be thinking of you on that day and let me congratulate you on your 2nd surgiversary, but...no way would I dream of doing something like that.  (Afraid of heights!!)

The hike sounds good though, I've been wanting to hike.

No actually...you shouldn't be running at all that weekend.  But a nice long hike is perfect!  :-)

I'm in! I haven't bungee jumped in YEARS and I have been dying to go!!! Let me know how you are handling reservations and stuff. I will try to get Chris to come too but I am PRETTY SURE she wont jump, I am sure she will want to come watch all of us though!
