Update II: Julia

Thanks, Jean-- I just wiki-ed "INR."  It sounds like what my mother (who has been on coumadin for years) calls P-Time.  The cardio seems to think I will only need to take it for three months post-op.  She also wants to make sure my PCP can continue monitoring my INR level.

Pro-Time is another name for it too! I am also on Coumadin, have been since my strokes last Aug. I have a blood clot in my neck. I just found out I am probably on the Coumadin for life!! I was just really bad about getting my INR checked and went really low so I've got to go back to checking it monthly!!
So glad to see you posting sweetie and hope you get to go home tomorrow, but follow doctors orders to a T!!!! Saying prayers for you and welcome to the LOSER's bench!!  bigg huggs, Becky

PS.  Love your name for your clot!!! I named my hernias, they are Bertha and her Berthettas, momma and babies!!!!  lol
