Not alot on the agenda for today....hmmm, should I start painting that wall - yes I should...will I - that remains to be seen...I tend to be a procrastinator on somethings. I think I am just nervous cause I don't want to screw it up as I have never done painting before...
Janine - glad there were no flash floods and that painting is very cool.
To all the new losers coming up next week - best of luck.
Lets continue to keep Julia in our prayers that everything is ok and she gets to come home today or tomorrow....blood clots are so scary - as I know first hand....

Good morning Terry and the Cali crew!
Yesterday was a busy but good day. Today should be much more relaxed. Sammi asked me to take her to breakfast this morning. Who can resist that??? Although it is our usual routine to go for breakfast on Sunday mornings. Later this afternoon we will go visit Sam's Aunt and uncle who are here from Oregon. I thought this was happening last weekend but we had the dates wrong. We're also thinking about taking Sammi to see Space Chimps. It would be her first time in a theater. Kind of excited about that.
Good luck to you Terry and Lisa both onyour upcoming surgery tomorrow. I know you'll both do great.

No rain here in High Desert of Hesperia! It was actually a beautiful evening last night. My husband and I went out shopping to get everything for that my kids will need while I am recouperating from surgery. I have surgery 8/1, Friday. So we stocked up on everything they need for about 2 weeks. I had to laugh as it took us like 2 hours to get through shopping when it normally takes us about 45 min. I had to read each and every label! lol But I did find some interesting and healthy things at Costco that will be great for me when I get on regular food. So it was nice to start getting and idea about that. Today is going to be a garage day as we did not do it yesterday. so lots of organizing and putzing around. Janine I love your "Dia de la muerta" picture. My husband and I eloped to Mexico on Dia de la muerta! It is November 1st. Everything was closed so we got Married on November 2nd, but in Mexico they don't register marriages on a Sunday so our official day on paper is November 3rd! lol We celebrate the 2nd. But since we have been married about 8 times now, we have so many anniversaries! Last year we were married in a Shot Gun wedding in Arizona, that was one of the funnest so far. In the Fall we are going to Vegas and have Elvis Marry us. That should be good for a laugh! lol Well all for now. Let Julia know she is in my prayers and everyone have a happy Sunday. Enjoy you Comic convention I hear they are a blast.

Didn't get to The Bucket List yesterday but will today. Going to Home Depot for a new doorbell as they painted over the current one when they painted the house a month ago. New front light, doorbell and hooks for the wind chimes. Cleaning the fish tank. Hanging blinds in Jaydens room. and then, the movie. Not much!
Back to bed for a bit. Old man got home at 2am last night. Gonna go snuggle.

My mother's Birthday party was a lot of fun yesterday! My brother's came down from Chico, and there were 6 of my sister's there with their families. (I have a very large family)
Best of all BOTH of my daughter's came and brought the grandkids! So you know I was in heaven!!! My girls behaved themselves too! lol
you never know what's going to happen with those to at any given moment.... I played in the pool with the kids, and it was really just a GREAT Day!

TODAY IS THE BEST MORNING OF THE WEEK. "NASCAR MORNING"
OTHER THEN RACING, HUBBY HAS TO GO TO BED EARLY TODAY CAUSE HE HAS TO BE TO WORK AT 1AM IN THE MORNNG TO COVER FOR A FLACKY EMPLOYEE. I HATE WHEN HE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN COVER FOR ANYONE AND EVERYONE IN THE PLANT. MAKES MY DAY AND NIGHT ALL SCREWED UP.
AFTER NASCAR RACING IT WILL BE PLAY IN THE DIRT FOR A FEW HOURS TO PLANT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ROSES HUBBY BROUGHT HOME TO ME
LAST NIGHT.FOR 39 YEARS I TOLD HIM NEVER TO BRING ME FLOWERS AS CUT FLOWERS WERE A WAIST OF MONEY AND I JUST DIDN'T LIKE TO PUT THEM IN A VASE AND WATCH THEM DIE.
AFTER ALL THESE YEARS HE'S FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT AND INSTEAD OF BRINGING ME CUT FLOWERS HE BRINGS ME THE WHOLE PLANT OR BUSH. NOW I LOVE THAT!!!
HE BOUGHT ME A MATCH TO MY FULL SIZE GREEN AND WHITE ROSE BUSH , IN MINIATURE FORM. OH I JUST LOVE THE ROSE BUSH. HE ALSO BOUGHT ME A MINIATURE PINK AND WHITE BUSH.
IN EACH POT THERE ARE 4 ROSE BUSH'S PLANTED. HOPEULLY MY TURQUOISE THUMB WILL HELP THEM GROW TO BE VERY BIG AND BEAUTIFUL.
NOW AFTER RACING AND GARDENING IS MY FAVORITE PROGRAM... BIG BROTHER 10
THAT WILL ROUND OUT THE WHOLE DAY FOR ME.SENDING PRAYERS TO ALL OF OUR POST OPS AND SOON TO BE POST OPS FOR A SPEEDY AND PAINFREE RECOVERY.

Jean, I will continue to pray for Julia's recovery. I know she is probably anxious to go home. Did you also have a blood clot after surgery? Oh and I say "Paint that wall"
I actually slept in my own bed last night. I had been sleeping in my comfy living room chair since I got home, but some of the gas finally left my body and I was alot more comfortable. It was so nice to actually sleep again. I slept for almost 5 hours.
Today my brother is picking me up to hang out with his family. His wifes father passed away recently and they are having a "celebration of his life" get together.
I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend.

I had a wonderful sat visiting with my bestest friend and enjoying a very nice afternoon and evening. It's so nice to be with friends, there is nothing like it in the world.
Of course today at 10...pay attention Jodi, its the NASCAR warm up show. I am all ready, got my Dale Jr jams on with my Dale Jr. t shirt. Company will just have to get used to my casual look today, only place I don't wear this missmatched outfit in out my front door. But you can bet your bootie, you come to my house any NASCAR day and I am here, and if Dale Jr wrecks, well I turn off the race.
