OT: Scared To Fly!!!
I'm also nervous about flying.....I literally HATE to fly. I will do it, but I really HATE it....nothing about it seems "natural" to me as this huge heavy piece of fuselage defies the law of gravity, I just cannot comprehend it at all. Any slight bit of turbulence and I am just dying inside and wanna start running around the plane, making people talk to me!!

I was just thinking about it this morning, and almost started laughing, but I'm all by myself, so that might look a bit, well......crazy.

I have gone through 4 major surgeries, had a kidney removed, survived cancer.....and here I am afraid to board a plane......go figure.

Ok, I feel better now, thanks for the therapy session...............

JANEL
I'M RIGHT THERE WITH YOU. CONGRATS ON GETTING YOUR PS DONE. I SAY IF YOU CAN GO THRU ALL YOU HAVE YOU WILL DO JUST FINE. YOU WILL BE LANDED BEFORE YOU KNOW WHAT HIT YA. IT SHOULDN'T BE A LONG FLIGHT AT ALL.

SENDING YOU ALL KINDS OF POSITIVE VIBES AND WELL WISHES FOR THE FLIGHT AND I WILL BE LOOKING FOR FILM AT 11PM TO SEE IF THERE IS ANYTHING ABOUT A CRAZY LADY RUNNING AROUND THE PLANE. LOL
PRAYERS AND MORE POSITIVE VIBES FOR A PERFECT SURGERY AND A PAINLESS AS POSSIBLE AND A SPEEDY RECOVERY.
TAKE CARE
Janel I am scared to death to fly too, but as Gus said...no flying....no surgery either!
I am telling you I have flown many times up and down this state...and it has been one of the easiest flights I have even been on. The turbulance has been next to nothing everytime I have flown too. Just suck it up...tell the flight attendent you are scared too. I also get there so I can get on right in the front...that seems to help me too. Also I talk to people to keep my mind off of it...and when all else fails...take drugs! LOL
You are going to do fine girl because knowing why are doing this (flying that is) will definitely get you through your fear!!!

One time I flew, it was to Phoenix during a nasty storm...it was so bad. The 2 flight attendants were really sweet to me, and at the end of the flight they gave me a pin...it was plastic wings, like what they give to kids...lol!!
