A MOMENT worth mentioning

My daughter and I went to the Great Mall in Milpitas yesterday. I felt cute man....felt like the me before I put on all that weight. ...the men were looking at me;; even the younger guys who were checking out my daughter would do several glances at me (YES, I WAS WATCHING FOR IT...LOL)......I had on the cutest tube top that I found at WalMart and a pair of Ecko shorts (imagine me in a pair of Ecko brand anything....I was excited). Anyway....

I ran into a lady I hadn't seen in about 8 - 10 years. The scene was like out of a movie. I glanced up as she passed me and we did a double take in what seemed like slo mo.

Her mouth dropped to the floor and she said "OH.....MY.....god"...really slow.

All she could tell me over and over was You look Fabulous; "you look so beautiful girl". She kept saying it.

That made my day. Had to share it with you because it reminded me of one of the reason I had this surgery. NOt only did I want to feel better...which I definately do...but I also wanted to LOOK better; which I must ROFLOL...not being concided; it just made me feel so good to get this compliment because I still don't always see myself as 'beautiful' or 'fabulous' so when someone gives you that.....you float for a day or two.

Shells--you must be having some great moments too. I have not been on line in a couple of weeks and I wanted to say you look like a new person. keep it up. i am still waiting and waiting and waiting to join you on the loosers bench, but I hope to make it by the end of the year.

What a great WOW moment! It definately does feel fantastic. Keep that feeling with you and when you're having a down moment, reach into your memory and grab one of these great ones.

Good for you! And trust me, I think everyone on here can relate to that! I've run into people who haven't seen me since before my surgery last Oct and then see me now and I definitely get the double take and the OMG remark, and I love it too! Good job and lets keep those moments coming!!! Kim
