Losing Hair

I am having hair loss since my surgery someone told me about a hair vitamin I think it is  biltine or piltine I maybe spelling it wrong she said you take one a day have anyone heard of this.

Hi there! Welcome to the Cali board. It's a supplement called Biotin. I take 2 5000mcgs per day, which is actually 10mg daily. I get it at Walmart for about $5.00 for a bottle og 120 capsules. Good luck! =)

The vitamin is biotin, but hair loss is very normal from months 3-9.  Don't despair, it happens to everyone.  At month nine, my hair started growing back.  I am almost at 2 years, and my hair has been full for about 7 months now.  It will grow back.  I took 1000 mg in addition to my daily vitamin, which also had about 30% of the recommended dosage.

I was told it does come back and the nurse told me to get Omega with 3,6,& 9 in it (it all comes in one pill ) she said this will help with the hair and skin (you skin will get really dry too )

The Omega's also contribute greatly to the "Gassy" syndrome.  Eeeee, you'll fart like crazy!
