Good Morning, Welcome to this wonder Saturday Morning...

I have already took the Fresser out for a walk. Trust me, right now, its a great morning. We took a short walk, 1 mile, and had a great time with the dogs in the complex that the moms and dads just turn lose in the morning to go and potty on everyone's yards. JERKS!!! If I was to do that, little Miss Thing would just sit on the front step waiting for me to come out and play.

Cindy and I signed up for the Disneyland 5k yesterday. Who is planning on running/walk that one?

Since I am working today, my plans are thin. Work, work and work some more. So that is my day, and most of my night in a nut shell. What do YOU have planned?  I hope you have plans to spend some time with family, and friends. Do something fun that gets you OFF your behind. LOL Got to move it, to lose it!

Good Morning my Skip-to-my-Lu and all the Cali Crew!

I am up, sipping my coffee and making lists of things to do. So many things to take care of right now. Spent the last two days with my nephew Rob, his wife, Mindy, brother Walter and Mom going through things at the apartment and packing. Same plan for today. Tomorow Rob will pick up the rental truck in the morning and load it up. He'll park it here Sunday and then go to a birthday celebration at Mindy's Mom's house in Yorba Linda for Mindy's Grandfather, spend the night there and come pick up the truck here Monday morning for the drive back to Phoenix. Mindy's Mom has been taking care of the three girls for Minday and Rob while we are working on the apartment. In the meantime D has been working and keeping the home fires burning for us.

Sure hope it isn't as humid today as it has been. Feels almost like Florida lately for gosh sakes! Been sweating like a pig... I like the heat but not the humidity.

Morning Lu & Everyone,
I am so sorry you have to work today, I hope it goes by fast. As for my weekend, my grandparents are coming down. So it is all about family time. Hopefully some time in and by the pool. Waiting for new job posting on Sunday and thats about it. Trying to relax while being all stressed out about getting a job.
Hope everyone has a great stress free weekend. Be good to yourselves and those around you!!

This morning Sammi and I will do the Wally World, Albertsons run while Sam does the yard work. Later this afternoon Sam and I have a wedding to go to that should be really nice. I think my Mom is going to keep Sammi for a sleep over.

Sunday we may take Kandy dog down to the beach to play then later in the afternoon is a free concert in the park. If we make it all depends on the nap though.

GOOD MORNING LU AND OUR CALI CREW,

Woke up at like 6am...What the Heck??? I did not wanna wake up until 7:30 for my gym run at 8:00.  Oh well, already got the rest of my weekend clean up done....so what to do, what to do??

Going to the Great Mall in Milpitas.  Not much buying, but I really want to try things on and see what sizes I wear in those stores I could never shop at.  Probbaly will buy a few back to school things for my 11 y/o.  Tonight a movie with the hubby if he gets back frm the co-worker retirement party in time.  Maybe WANTED with Angalie Jolie or Hitch**** (I thik that's the anemof it with Will SMith)

Tomorrow, church...and prepare for the coming week.

Steve...you are the one who needs extra big bear hugs!  My heart is with you and  you family as you take things one day at a time.

As for excitement . . . not!  I'm getting my car serviced in an hour . .. I get this "maintenance required" light that comes on every 5,000 miles and drives me nuts ... and have to deal with my no so significant other (in MY mind) as to why I need space .. .LOTS of space . . . ugh ... he isn't taking NO for an answer . . .

After that ... . I have to start pulling out camping gear!  Wahoo!  I so need a camping trip .. . . can't wait!

Hi Calif kids!  May I just say I love having  wireless laptop...lol  I'm sitting in my jammies, in a camping chair, on the balcony as I type this.  My husband just handed me a bottle of water...LOL  I haven't had my protein drink yet...anyhoo, we need to go to the AAA office to do some DMV stuff, tjhen we'll part ways, he's going to get the Pacifia a bath and then head up to Riverside to see my cousin Janet in a play there...A little night music.  We're staying the night in Ontario, got a good deal at the Hilton from Priceline.  I'm going to go to Avenue and see what kind of dresses they have there, for that darned wedding...lol  Ok, I'd better get my protein drink down for all of my escapades today.  Ya'll have a good, restful weekend, continued prayers to Steve and his family durimg this time for them.  Happy Birthday almost to Janine!!  xo  Kim

 

Thanks Kim and might I suggest you hit Ross for a dress. I swear I find some of the coolest dresses there and they do have plus sizes in dresses. Although I have a hard time looking at your pic and thinking you are still in a plus size.

Oh bless your heart...LOL  I'm still 271, I just carry it pretty well since I'm 5'9".  In fact it's funny for me to hear people say how thin I am, but when I think about it since last year, yes, I'm thinner...lol  Anyhow, I'll give Ross a try, I just usually have to be in the right mood to try Ross or Marshalls, TJ Max etc.  I'm still wearing around a 20 or 22.  Thanks for the tip and the compliment!  xo  Kim

Happy Saturday!!!
Today we are going to go visit Mom, take her some peaches and possibly out to lunch.  She sounded so excited on the phone!  I guess none of my 10 siblings have been calling or visiting much.  I'm sure it's just a matter of "busy lives", although I think we need to make time for her.
she is my "Saint"  With eleven children (nine of us girls!) and all that she has done for us kids she is definitely my role model!  I thought I would die with just trying to raise 2 children!  lol
Well talking to the gal at BCBSIL put a little more wind in my sails yesterday!  She is resubmitting my approval request for my WLS.
When she read me the denial letter (which I still have not rec'd) I couldn't believe it.  Denying me for the same thing as last time for not having a 6 month Supervised weight loss program!  I told her I didn't think any one read my paperwork and looked at all of the documentation!!!  Ugh!!!
I'm am trying to think positive and hopefully I will be there sitting with you guys on that LOSER's bench!!!
