Congrats on your approval!!! What did your Dr. tell you to do for your diet.? Did he tell you only protein drinks?

Good morning Janine and Cali Friends,

First, Janine I am soooo happy that you did not lose your journals!!!!  That is FANTASTIC!!! 
No big plans.  I am going to go get my hair done tonight.  I am not sure how , but after loosing 70lbs it would be nice to get something different. I’m just scared!!   I am going to look on-line to see if I can find a cut I like.  I'll post some pictures tomorrow, so let me know what you all think. The only plans I have this weekend is....finish the closet.  We cleaned out our closet a few weeks ago and my husband is building a closet organizer. He does such a great job; it just takes him awhile.  So, my goal this weekend is for him to get the closet organizer done.  Yes, I am the supervisor!! And then get everything back in there.  But, I do have to say that after cleaning out the closet and going through all my clothes I have 5 bags of clothes that no longer fit me. So, I guess I could say the closet is a little thinner too.

Well, Hope you all have a wonderful and safe weekend.  Steve you and your family are in my Prayers!!

I have just de-closet-ed, and have two and a half over-flowing laundry baskets of size 28s, 26s, 24s, 4x's and some 3x's.  They are probably too big for you, but if not, they are yours for the asking.  That applies to anyone else, too.  There are some dressy pants/blouses/jackets for work, and a lot of casual clothes.  Some of the work clothes have never been worn, as I got them when I started substitute teaching, just before I committed to having the surgery and starting to lose weight!  If anyone wants any, please respond to me privately, and we'll exchange all the necessary info and I'll pack it up and mail it off to you. --  Carol

I found that shorter hair was easier as it was falling out! And don't be surprised if it grows back in, different than it is now. Mine became crazy, curly, wild and untamed!!! lol  I'm starting to accept it and get use to it!!!     bigg huggs, Becky

Gooood Morning Janine & all of wonderful Cali,

Everything is coming up roses, I now have my date August 20, my 50th BD is tommorow, my son got a great new job and my daughter is starting her own new journey, college in Santa Barbara.

My husband and I are going to Clear Lake tomorrow with friends that have a house on the lake. What a great way to spend my BD!

Today I am getting my grey covered, my nails and toes done, and going out to lunch with friends.

That's great news!  I'll pencil in a spot on the bench for you! 

I know you'll have a great birthday at Clear Lake.  We did that a few years ago.  Don't rent the hobie cat unless you wnat to go for a swim, it's left sponson leaked.  We capsized after 2 hours on the water!  I was REAL glad the water was warm and we weren't in SF bay! LOL  I taced and It was like slow motion.  I looked at DH and said "So now what, Captain?"  He said "Jump!"  I went off one side and he went off the other.  We were laughing our butts off.  Of course we had our life jackets on, and the camera shop WAS able to fix my birding binoculars, still it was an unplanned swim and everything in my purse was soaked.  Anyway, sail at your own risk and check out the equipment first. ;-)
