Good TGIF Morning Gang

Okay it is a grand day to get up...ITS FRIDAY YaY!!!!!

I am sure all of you who are working are glad this day has finally come! I know if I was working right about now...I sure would be delighted...hell I am not working and I am! LOL

Well good news for today....I got my computer back and after going round and round with HP....who I am not particularly found of.....I discovered they did not do what I had asked them to do....so you ask what the good news is....my computer system was not touched...so that means....yes you got it....I have all my documents still on my hard drive and yes...I HAVE THE JOURNALS!!!! Now is that some divine intervention of what??? I am planning to copy all of them today on cd's because I do not want to go throught that heartbreak again and also back them up on the external hard drive!!! YAY me so excited!!!!

So what are you plans for the weekend? I know you all have some good ones planned....like SueBee is partying her buzzing bottom off birthday sis!

Monica P is also going to be out their and shakin her bootie for sure!!!! Monica I am so happy for all the success you have had in this year! Just think what another years is going to bring you...you're young and pretty....and have the whole world at your feet...you go girl and you deserve it!

Other than that...what is the haps people!!!!

Good morning Janine and all my cali friends....yep, its friday and on to the weekend.  Not to much planned for me this weekend other than going to party with Monica and her crew to celebrate her surgiversary. 

Yesterday I got pretty ambitious and decided to plant some flowers in my front yard area - you see many months ago the association removed a large beautiful tree that had been ther eover 10 years (it was getting to big and cracking the sidewalk and yada yada and some  people complalined to out comes the tree and no I was not happy but not much you can do when you live in a community like this)  Anyway, long story shore - it left an ugly dirt area where the tree was (they planted new ones but not in the exact same spot).  So, I go to Target and buy a bunch of pottel flowers, come home and get out my dads old metal hoe (I guess thats what its called - the tool with 3 metal prongs on the end) and start hacking at the dirt, turning it up, getting roots out and so on, then I dig the holes with a little hand shovel and plant my flowers...It looks really pretty now as long as the bunnies (they are wild and run rampant here in Leisure world) don't eat them.  I am pretty proud of myself - although pretty sore in my arms and back this morning.....but let me tell you I was sweating buckets....next project is the wall painting.

My next news is that my great niece is semi famous now (lol) I guess she did a bill board up where her grandparents live (I think its called pearblossom) and the billboard went up....I posted a picture below.  I think the picture must have been taken a while ago cause she looks way younger than she does now. 

Anyway, this is just the start as she now has an agent and her mom is getting her into commercials and print ads and such...which I would much rather have her do that than the stupid beauty pageants -....anyway, enough about that...I am just one proud great auntie.

I guess I have rambled on enough.....everyone have an awesome day and a great weekend

Good Friday Morning Calif.....

I am off today, so I plan on going to the farmer market this morning and thats my day so far. I might go golfing by myself. Since everyone else is working, and I work this weekend. And on that note, since I work this weekend, NO BIG PLANS.

Good morning Janine and Cali!

I don't know what's been up with me but the time to post seems to have slipped by.

I'm excited for the weekend as Sam is home again and we are heading out to a wedding on Sat.

The weather has been nice an cool here on the coast but I've been practicing doubling my water intake. Turns out I have another kidney stone already. We think I should pass this one though. Don't know how big it is without a CT scan and I don't want to do that unless I have to. Dr. started me on some medicine to help me not make more but it won't help this one. Anywhoo......

Janine, I am SO glad you didn't lose your journals. That would have been truely devistating. Any big plans for your birthday?????

thank god it's friday... i'm soo excited i got approve for surgery and it's on the 28th yes....of this month.... so i'm staring that diet before the surgery today,,,, i'm having my last cup of real coffee...i'm gonna switch to decafe for a couple of days then quit all together until i'm allowed coffee again,,,i have a lot of bad eating habbits i need to change too but it's gonna be well worth it... wish me luck on my weight loss journey... lisa~

Congratulations!  That's only 10 Days!  Woo hoooooo!

It's a good thing all of us are losing.  We've made a LOT of room on the loser's bench this month. lol
