support group meeting

In Jackson, Amador County there is a Support Group Meeting. It was tonight and only one other person showed up, the leader did not even show up. The other lady told me that she has never met the leader. I think it needs more publicity.

The meeting is the 4th thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. It is in the Hospital in the conference room.

I would like to know what it takes to be a support group leader? If anyone knows can you please let me know. Also please pass on the word if you know anyone in this area that needs support about the meetings.
