Thanks for all of your responses. I'll be traveling from Corona...about 1 1/2 hour drive. I was just hoping to gave the surgery and be back home before next Monday because my children will be starting the new school near on that day. But that's not going to happen, so I guess I'll try to recruit a family member/teen to stay at my house with my little ones... I don't have any relatives who live nearby, everyone is at least an hour away.

It was 4 weeks before I heard from them. I did call a couple of times, but was told that some of the things were still waiting for transcription. I think they tell you to wait a few weeks before calling. My file also sat on Dr. Tanaka's desk for about a week because of holiday/vacation schedules.
