referral put in .....How long Now?

My PCM just put in my referral in today so I can meet with my Surgeon. Now what.....?  Do I need to wait for my insurance company to say its ok to meet with the Surgeon...How long does it take.  I have Blue Shile of Ca Acess + HMO ( Federal Employee ) Insurance............Thanks

Hi Liz,
I just wanted you to know that on Thursday of last week, Becky got all the paperwork from my PCM that she was missing. I called today, but they said the referral was still in review.  Let me know if you hear anything.   Thanks .......Lori
