2 Year Follow Up Appt.....

My 2 year surgiversarry was last month, and I had my 2 year follow up appt at Kaiser today. All my labs were great, except I have a vitamin D deficiency. They have me on high doses of vitamin D and will take lab tests again in a month. My dr feels that all will be back to normal by then.

I'm down a total of 94 lbs. I've gained a few, but nothing major. My dr said not to worry about it, because I'm back at the gym and focused on taking care of myself and not gaining this weight back....he is such an encourager.

I'm so excited about this next phase in my journey...round one of plastics. Part of me is terrified, but the other part just cannot wait!!

Wow that is so awesome Janel!!! You are going to be doing great and you know what? After the plastics....you will probably go on to lose more. It is kind of like getting that jump start again...you feel good about yourself and you will get back in that gym and you will be smokin girl! I sure hope I can meet you on the 6th. Where are you all meeting? I am hoping to get hubby to come because I do not want to drive that far alone for sure!

Congrats Janel...you are such an inspiration....you have gone through alot and all the good things that are happening to you in your life are happening for a good reason....cuz you da BOMB!

Thanks, friend, I always appreciate your encouragement.

I'm not sure where we are meeting on the 6th...Nadine and I think Kirsten are figuring all that out. I just fly in at 5pm, and they're picking me up. We drive down to Cosmed on the 7th....and then the 8th is "the day!"

I've been sick this past week, some sort of virus. My dr has me on meds..I have so much congestion. I am hoping this passes soon, as I'm worried that my doc may cancel my surgery if I'm not better...........
