i don't know how to feel (sorry, rant included)

Just read soneone's post on the LapSF yahoo group I am about ready to blow a fuse. You can be sure I am calling on Monday and asking for a copy of my records.

I totally understand your frustration and disappointment, and even some anger.  The journey was excruciating for me, and a delay would have been beyond my coping skills.  You should not be sorry for whining.  The delay was out of your control and your employer should understand.  How could they deny medical leave?  Were you only going to take a week or two off?  It really does take longer to recoup your energy.  Blue Cross has quite a few centers of expertise for bariatric surgery.  Most doctors even do their surgeries at more than one.  Would another facility be possible for you?  Your records could be transferred quickly, as mine were.  I didnt' have to do any of the testing over again. But, probably that won't be necessary and things will be cleared up very soon.  I'm so sorry you are going thru this.
