Rise and Shine Cali it's Saturday
I thought that I would pop in and say hello to everyone. Janine I read your post yesterday and I felt very sorry for you. I do not post to all the boards as I do not get on as much as I used to. I have been more busy lately. Too many DR.s appointments trying to get my diabetes under control. Anyway I wanted to say hello to you and I hope it is not too hot down south. I had triple digits for the last week and I could not take it.
Just an update, I had my initial conference with the Surgeon and the NUT, now I have the psych and the rest of my three month dr supervised weight loss attempt then it will be time to submit to ins. I can hardly wait.
I hope everyone has a nice peaceful evening. Sue

Good Morning everyone! Well afternoon again!
We just got back home and it sure is good to be here! All is still going well and I'm not having any problem getting in my protein..the water takes a lot longer but I get it in. lol I've hardly walked today because I went back to sleep this morning then it took 3 hours to get home. DH was driving so carefully I only felt 2 bumps! I tried to have some jello instead of water..nix that idea, it tastes too sweet. So I'm on water and Jay Robb chocolate protein powder. We did stop by Trader Joe's and pick up some Fage 0% and TJ's greek style yogurt. Maybe I'll be ready for that in a few days.
I got in 1.5 miles yesterday and have .89 miles today. Needs work, eh? First a nap though. :) Who would have thought holding a pillow for 3 hours would be so tiring??
I have no hunger, no pain and no soreness. I wish that for all of you with upcoming surgeries!
Once again, thank you all for your well wishes and helpful hints. I'd have been lost without you all!
Be well,
---jan---
