Rise and Shine Cali it's Saturday

Yep it is Saturday and I know a lot of you are sleeping soundly. I am just grateful that I actually slept for nearly 6 hours! I think I did because they night before I slept for an hour and a half and then another hour and a half...sucks eh? So on that note.....GOOD SATURDAY MORNING CALI!!!! 

I want to say thank you to all of you *****sponded to me in the last few days....I feel bad because you all felt bad and that surely was not my intentions. I do hope that perhaps it might raise a tad of awareness. I know I can be a schlub sometimes too and as Nadine pointed out...no one remembered her...but Nadine....you hardly come around anymore that I am aware of...but nevertheless it was not cool!

Liz R....you really caught me off guard yesterday calling! I was sitting in the beauty college with my friend as her daughter works there and my mind was working in overdrive because I was like Liz...but I really appreciate you taking the time to call and wish me well.  You know I think you are the best and another person who exemplfies a person who walks the walk...or should I say bike it now!!!   

What is on your agenda for today.....I know the SD girls are meeting and partying, but what about the rest of you?

Today make sure you drink tha****er.....keep Mr. Bob in your prayers because as Steve said he is not out of the woods and in general do something that puts a smile on your face and in your heart!

Good Morning Janine and all the rest of my cali friends

I am off this weekend to Torrance to visit with my BFF and also to go to the rubber stamp convention (you stampers and scrapbookers know what this is) then we will undoubtly do lots of shopping and gabbing and all that girl stuff.

Other than that I just want to say everyone have a great weekend.

Lots of hugs to all the pre ops and newbies and oldies and all those in between.

I am keeping Bob and Steve and family in my prayers as well as everyone else that is facing struggles and stress.

'morning!  i'm still awake from last night.  (darn my wacky internal clock!  )

please don't feel bad.  it wasn't your intent to make anyone feel bad; you don't seem like that kind of person.  you came across someone who felt hurt and rightfully so.  i think that some more awareness is a great idea.  (especially for people like me who tend to be a bit on the oblivious side of life.) 

is there some way we can make a sticky at the top of the forum with all of the dates to keep track?  i'm not quite sure how to even check the dates, except for under the avatar box. 

SD girls- enjoy your get together!  i hope it's a ton of fun.

i will keep mr. bob in my prayers.

since i'm really bummed about this whole surgery delay, i think i'm going to get some sleep and make it a "me" day.  attempt to do my own mani-pedi and check out the frida kahlo exhibit at sf moma.  i'm working to get into better headspace.

GOOD MORNING JANINE    AND ALL THE WONDERFUL CALI PEOPLE.

WELL I HAD A FEW MINUTES BEFORE SARAH WAKES UP AND JOINS ME FOR MORNING FLOWER WATERING SO I THOUGHT I WOULD POP IN AND SAY HI. 

I AM WAITING TO SEE IF WE ARE GOING TO HAVE RAIN OR JUST MUGGY WEATHER TODAY. I'M SURE GLAD YOU GOT MORE THEN 1 1/2 HR'S OF SLEEP LAST NIGHT. POOR SLEEP MESSES WITH YOUR MIND AND BODY AND IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME JUST ASK ME. WOW DOES IT EVER. 

HUBBY IS WORKING BOTH DAYS THIS WEEKEND SO I WILL SEE HIM FOR A LITTLE BIT EACH NIGHT.

AT LEAST HE WILL BE HOME IN TIME TO WATCH NASCAR WITH ME. HE'S A FORMER STOCK CAR DRIVER SO WE HAVE OIL IN OUR BODY'S INSTEAD OF BLOOD. HE STARTED RACING WHEN HE WAS 15 AND YOU NEVER LOOSE THE FEELING.

LIKE THIS MORNING AS HE LEFT FOR WORK FOUND HE HAD A FLAT TIRE AND CHANGED IT IN RECORD TIME IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE AT 3AM THIS MORNING AND WAS LATE LEAVING FOR WORK. BUT SEEMS HE DRIVES A RETIRED POLICE CAR AND IT HAS A CORVET ENGINE IN IT HE WAS ONLY 4 MINUTES LATE TO WORK...HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN 20 MINUTES LATE... WHEN HE GETS HOME I WILL SPEAK WITH HIM ABOUT THAT..    

I WON'T BE DOING OTHER THEN PUTTERING AROUND WITH MY FLOWERS AND PLANTS.

I STILL HAVE A FEW MORE TO PLANT SO THEY OPEN IN TIME FOR THE FALL SEASON. I TELL YOU THIS GARDENING SURE TAKES MORE TIME THEN I THOUGHT BUT I REALLY AM ENJOYING IT. SORT OF LIKE PAINTING A PICTURE I WOULD IMAGINE THE MORE YOU PAINT THE MORE YOU WANT TO DO MORE. WELL AT LEAST THAT'S HOW IT IS EFFECTING ME. 

OH BY THE WAY I HAVE THAT SETTING ON MY CAMERA AND IT TAKES SO MUCH PRETTIER PICTURES THEN IT DID.     AGAIN FOR THE ADVICE AND THE HELP. NOW I HAVE FOUND THE BOOKLET FOR THE CAMERA AND I AM HOPING THAT I CAN GET MUCH BETTER PICTURES NOW TO POST ON MY "OH" PAGE TO SHOW.

EVERYONE HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY TODAY AND FIND SOMETHING FUN OR RELAXING TO DO. TAKE CARE AND TRY TO STAY AWAY FROM THE HUMIDY.   

Good morning Janine and Cali Crew. Yes, I am up early. We went to dinner with Becky (anewbecboo) and her mom at the country club in Helendale. After dinner was Karaoke. It was a lot of fun. We got home about 12:45am and finally got to bed about 2:00am. I woke up about 5:30 and couln't go back to sleep, so here I sit. I'll probably need a nap later. No real plans today except grocery shopping and a run to Walmart. Hope everyone has a great day. Stay hydrated! xoxoxo

Good Morning Janine and my Calif Friends!

Wow!  My hubby and I slept in this morning!  No Grandkids last night, so him and I went out to dinner and I even had a long Island Iced Tea!

I don't know what I did but I couldn't post last night.  hehehehe 

Anyway, I am doing fine, I had the stereo tactic biopsy done.  I made it out to be worse in my head than it was.  After they got me on the "car hoist" I call it, and got me numb I did good!

Doc says it is most likely just mal-formed tissue, a harmatoma (sp)tumor which is benign and nothing to worry about.  They just want to be sure.

Thanks to all of you for the well wishes!  I appreciate it.  You guys are great!!!

Steve, I hope Bob continues to get better everyday!

OMG!  Janine, 6 hours of sleep all at once???  lol  Look out world, here she comes!!!

Jodi, I can't wait to see pics of your backyard.  You have worked so hard on it.  Yep, tell your hubby he is not on the race track no more!!!  lol

Katt and Becky....you singing party animals!  I am jelouse!!!  Sounds like fun.

Today is going to be GREAT!!!!  I get to see some of my most treasured people on the planet and hang with them for HOURS AND HOURS!!!!  Yay me!!

The downside to the weekend....I have to go back to reality, triple digit weather, smoke filled air and plain ole NOT SAN DIEGO!    waaahhhhh  Oh well, about 50 more days and Mike will be home FOR GOOD!  yeee haaaawwww

OMG, you are so welcome.  I know the beauty college thing well.  That is where Miss Lindsey is spending her time.  I just got home from Pasadena a bit ago.  Went with my so to take his phlebotomy cert exam.

Good morning California.  I wanted to thank you all again for your kind words.  We actually slept in till 11am today!  I'm having some coffee and watching the San Francisco/Alcatraz triathalon....these things inspire me. 

I think we'll get out for a walk today and go look at bicycles.  Maybe go see Get Smart.  Just have a semi-worry free day today for the first time in a while.

Sure glad it's Saturday, it's so nice not having to rush to work in the morning. Just trying to keep busy while on this 2 week liquid diet still. Thankfully some of my other protiens came in and I had a better variety to choose from. I really find when I drink these sweet things I really crave something salty. Just 4 more days in this big used and abused stomach. Looking forward to Thurday for my new improved petite version, I will have to treat it well and never abuse it again.

Janeene - You certainly deserve some rest and you will have to let us know if you went to the movies and how it was/

Becky & Katt - I am sure you ladies tore up the town last night, sounds like a lot of fun.

Jodi - Can't wait to see the gardening pictures, I could sure use some tips. This is something I hope to take up in the coming months. I sure enjoy looking at it colorful and beautiful.

Jeni - Glad to hear the good news so far on the Biopsy. I know how the anticipation can be for those things. They gave me a scare this week and I ended up going in for a compression and ultrasound for mine as well.

Vicki - I am sure you are counting down the days and they can not go fast enough. Soon... good things come to those who wait..hang in there

Liz - Great News on your son and his test, that is Awesome! You sure have a reason to be proud.
