I wanted to try the 1000 calorie diet to see how I did on it, before I actually HAD to lose the weight.  I started on Monday and as of today, I lost NINE pounds!!!  I guess starvation will do that to a person, lol!! So I'm off this darned thing now!   Just thought I'd share :)

Frankly I'm stunned!  I have never lost weight like that, lol  This was pretty much torture for me too, but it was good practice and I'm going to stick with eating healthy until/after surgery. I'm even PMS'ing and am bloated, so go figure!  hahaha

Huh! I was just thinking I hope you didnt get yourself dehydrated. But since bloat is the opposite of dehydrated, I'd say that is a no. Did you use Daily Plate, or Fit Day or something to log your food? I am reading a book recommended by the psych at my clinic. It is called something like "The Emotional First-Aid Kit" for bariatric surgery. It recommends starting all of the lifestyle changes prior to surgery. Sounds like you are on the right track for success. Gotta do something to pass the time while waiting for surgery, right? Take care - D2K

Definitely NOT dehydrated!  I drank even more than the recommended 64 oz.

Who knows, it's a fluke, I'm sure, lol

Hell, if I did 10 weeks of starvation, I wouldn't need surgery!  lol

OH and yes, I did use Daily Plate to track everything, perhaps that's the key!
