good morning janine and cali,,, hope your doing well ,first off congratulations on your 6th surgeryversary . you are very needed on thes boards, you have been a great help to me and im sure to many others . i try to get on here as much as i can but its hard now that i have another person using my computer as well ....but agian your an asset to the cali board and if you leave you will be missed. .  so how is everyone on this friday morning? better then me i bet ,  im looking to go to fresno in the next few weeks and try to get my drivers license back , and then im thinking about coming back to southern cali.. i havent really decided yet . things arent going to well up here for me , one mishap after another and its spiraling downward ,im almost at rock bottom and then i dont know what will be . anyways, i am trying to stay positive but its hard .  well taek care i have to go to wrk ,, rebecca basra

I so need a weekend right now I'm really looking for GNO with the SD girls were gonna have a blast I cant wait ,,, Its hard to slow down I;m having too much fun in life with dancing on the weekends we have the best time ,,, just a few more weeks till were camping I cant wait for that I need some time off I'm looking at a 2 week vacation at the end of the month so much needed I really havent had any time off since November when my dad passed away ,,, Well its looking nice outside already the sun is out and warming up ,, Have a great day keep hydrated smiling and happy ,,, *Christine*  

Good morning Janine and Cali! TGIF!!!!! Thanks again for the fantastic shout out. And thanks for thinking about my Dad. He is just above Paradise in Magalia and still under Precautionary advisory. If things change or shift, he may have to go in a hurry. For now, he's home. I just keep praying things settle down with all the fires. I can only immagine the weather you've been having in the desert the last few days too. Yikes! When I lived in Boise, ID we would get summertime thunder / lightening and I always loved the feel of the energy in the air. Hope everyone has a great TGIF! Sue

Good morning Janine and Cali Crew, Yes, I am so glad it is Friday Only 8 more hours to go and I am off work and starting the weekend.  What is in store for me....the regular Friday night dancing  with hubby and friends...a 40 birthday party to go to on Saturday and some more friend time on Sunday.  Everyone stay cool and drink plenty of liquids.  Happy Friday

TGIF TGIF TGIF Yes I am happy that it is Friday finally.  I have been working hard these past 2 weeks, that is the reason for me being so not here lately.  Closing time is now here which means that I have been cloding my books for the last fiscal year and getting the new ones open, and I am about 95% done at this time.  I have also been doing the internet thing for my husband because he has no clue about computers and that is the only way to look for work these days, they don't list jobs in the local paper anymore.  This morning I finished getting all of the search agents to work and have his e-mail account set up so all I have to do is print out the reports and give them to him.   Diane I am sorry to hear about your puppy.  Janine-Happy Surgiversary to you and to me!!   Have to get back to it, but I will read more over the weekend,  Sharon

Morning! Feeling a bit better...still have the sniffles, some what- but doing better!! To chime in on your other post~ I hope that you can see that you are more important than the number of people that read your posts versus those that respond.  Some people just dont choose to throw themselves "out there" like we do and would rather see how other people are doing/feeling/living/etc without responding.  Make sense?  You are an important asset to the boards, but PLEASE dont feel that you need to be validated by bunch of virtual "friends".  (I hope you get my drift, not trying to be condescending or rude) Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday and an even better weekend!  I know I will!!  Hugs to all!

Hi I am Rhonda and I am new here.  I am scheduled to have surgery 8/1/08.  Congrats on 6 years.  I wish I had seen your post yesterday but with 9 children my computer time is so limited.  I found this site on a link from my Dr. site.  Dr. Owens.  Also he told me about this site in our face2face meeting.  I have gotten so much information here.  Everyone has been so welcoming and supportive.  I want to thank you for all that you do.  Everyone here actually.  It makes us feel that we are not alone.  Thanks so much, Rhonda

Good Morning All!  Yes, it is actually morning when I get to breeze through the board!  TGIF for real here!  I have a dentist appointment this morning and get my new crown.  Maybe then I can chew on the left side of my mouth!  One can only hope.  We are headed to the coast this afternoon.  Gotta get Jayden home to his momma.  It's been 3 weeks since he's been there .  We couldn't get him back over the hill due to road closures.  We're helping momma move from one apartment to a newer complex in his new school district.   Since we have to take the trailer over, we're taking the quads too and going riding on the sand.  Sunday the old man is going fishing with his buddies on the ocean.  Since I am a self-entertaining model, I will spend Sunday by myself doing exactly what I want.  Shopping using money out of Baldy's wallet, a pedicure, some new earrings, you know the works.  I already told him he was footing the bill!  Off I head to the dentist and then back to wrap up business.  They wanted me to work this weekend and the overtime would have been fantastic, but there are more things in life than padding Uncle Sam's coffers!  I need to PLAY!
