Splendor is Coming!
Carnivals newest ship is being inaugurated Thursday July 10th and will set sail for Amsterdam for its first sailing. Here is a clip from their website:
Our newest, largest and most innovative ship to date, CARNIVAL SPLENDOR will dazzle all cruisers with a host of new features, including: staterooms with flat screen TVs, a spectacular 21,000 sq foot, two-level spa and gym facility, 5,500-square-foot children's playroom and a mid-ship pool covered with a two-deck-high Sliding Sky Dome. She's yours to experience on a variety of wonderful itineraries including Europe and South America.
After sailing in Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean, the Splendor will be coming to Los Angeles, California. She will sail the Pacific to the Mexican Riviera for 7 days for just 2 months.
Well I just had to get on that ship. I booked for April 12th 2009 which is my Spring Break. I am co-hosting the bookings with the help of my brother who became a part time travel agent. We booked 25 cabins on Sunday and still have about 15 left.
If anyone is interested in sailing with us, shoot me an email for the details. A $25 deposit per person is required by Aug 5th 2008 then $250 p/p by Nov. and then the balance due by the end of January. It's easy to pay off and that is the only way I can get on a cruise is book far enough in advance and make payments on it.
I'm so excited! Remember.....is a 7 day and its during some peeps Spring Break.
Hey girl, you and Judy Anne are booking a room with your cruise miles. She told me. Not sure how that works. The prices for the rooms with a view/window are $120 per person more and for a balcony its $320 more per person......Yikes that's not really worth it cuz who is in their room anyway? This is a brand new state of the art ship and you can't see it from your cabin.
Later! Muah!
