Hi there Cali board, It took me a long time to decide if I wanted to spend money on a tummy tuck.....for those of you who kind of aren't sure if you should spend the money, or aren't sure if it is worth it, please know...it is the one of the best decisions I have ever made! For those of you who aren't sure about the money and not sure you have it, many docs have places they use for patient financing. Ex: Dr. Kent uses surgeryloans.com, capitalone and Carecredit.  I just wanted to let you know....it is so awesome to finally see your weight loss because all the skin is gone! I have an arm lift and side boob removal in a couple of weeks....and I can't wait! Good luck in whatever you all decide..... Kimberly (If you are interested, I posted a few pics of my TT in my profile. He is a wonderful surgeon)

Hi Kimberly,

You look fantastic and beautiful. Thank you so much for posting your pictures...you are extremely inspiring. I am getting ready to have some proceedures done....first the lower body lift and thighs.  The doctor said that they aren't that bad, it is medial but still only at the upper portion so he would do them both at the same time. Next will be the breast reduction, lift and augmentation and the side fat removal., and the arms...it sounds just like yours. Last, if I can do a lot of tutoring and SAT prep!...I am going to have a face lift and eyelid surgery.

Like you I teach, and this is my only window of opportunity for this first and most important  prodedure. I am still hoping that insurance will cover a good deal of the lower body.....I had a back surgery berfore my gastric bypass, and it is very aggravating to have this huge amouont of abdominal weight pulling it down. I also have metabolic syndrome, the insulin resistance, high triglyceride etc...and getting rid of abdominal fat is very necessary to treat this. I am going to see my PCP tomorrow and ask her if the surgery would be considered helpful or necessary in that case also. I struggled over money too....and using the doctor that I really want, Dr. Katzen, is more expensive than the others I consulted with, but I feel it is important enough that I am going to do it. I am setting it up now that whatever isn't covered by insurance, I will finance with care credit or reliance...a firm he uses also. I even have to get a co-signer, whidh is difficult for me... pride. and independence.....but I am doing this. I agree with you. This is so important and it will be worth every penny. I am so glad that you posted this. Please keep in touch as you get closer to your next procedure...we may be having ours at the same time...I am looking at July 28. Maureen

You look great! I'm scheduled for a tummy tuck and breast lift/implants on August 18th in conjunction with a hysterectomy.  I'm super nervous and excited!

Kimberly, You look amazing. Congrats on your tt. I can't wait to have mine done. I am looking to have one in about 2 years. Thanks for the info on the financing, I might have to go down that road. I didn't know you live in GG. That is so cool right down for HB were I am at. Well have a great day! Willa
