Pre-op worries... Help!

I had that SAME summer cold this weekend. On a HOLIDAY weekend no less. BOO COLDS!! What I've found works for me is any of the myriad methods of Zicam. As long as I take it as religiously as the box says, my cold is gone in three days. Usually for me, colds last a week and a half! Zicam is so WLS friendly and they don't even know it!! They have all these chewables, melt-aways, nasal swabs. It's awesome. Couple that regimin with the Theraflu Sever, and I am well enough to be back at work. Oh joy. :( Good luck to you!! Hope you are feeling better today, but I had a thought. The wind went away after the weekend. It took me until this morning to realize the little cough and tickle were my asthma flaring up, because the smoke is settling back in. Hit my inhaler. All better. I don't know where Hawthorne is, but are there fires near you? May be that it's just the smoke. Our nearest fires are about a 90 minute drive from here, but close enough as valleys go.  Good luck Thursday.  Janet
