Happy 4th of July TGIF!!!

Happy 4th of July my Cali friends!!!!  Today is going to be a day of   cooling of in the   and hopefully a wonderful display of   somewhere!!!!

Each year when I was a kid, I so looked forward to the 4th because I so loved the fireworks and then I knew my birthday was nearly right around the corner then too. This year....I coud for go the birthday thingie!  

Most of us are fortunate to have the day off and I know I am particularly fortunate to get to spend the day with both of my grandkids. I will for sure have to get some new updated pics of my babies. I bought them both their 4th of July outfit....Ava a RW&B dress and Hunter a red onesy with the flag on it! They will be cute.

Yesterday I spent nearly the entire day with Hunter and I just love that little sweetpea....he is such a different personality that Miss Avabear. Mellow as all get up....and he took his nap on his grandma's chest while his mother and me watched a chick flick! I had a great time and really reminded me of his dad. Ava I think is going to be walking by the time she is a year...hard to believe that little pumpkin is pulling herself up already and walking along things...seems like she just started turbo crawling and sitting up! The really do grow way too quick!

Anywho....Kim aka Madame Butterfly is have her surgery today! OMG I am telling you, she is going to be a BARBIE when she is done! I do not mean that in a bad way....she has just rocked her tool so much that plastics are only going to enhance what she already has done. Kim is super dedicate to rockin her tool and I could not be happier for her and this could not have happened to a nicer person! I will be posting an update on Kim when her roommate calls.

Steve...I sure hope that today brings even better news about your brother. He sure has been through hell and I hope that those docs get him repaired! We all continue to pray for him.  

 

Seems like everytime I sign on to OH there is another person shouting out they were approved or have a date....just awesome and I could not be happier for all f them!

Lets keep JenDenni in our prayers. She will be having her biopsy done this next Friday. We have to send out the super duper prayers that everything is going to be   okay!!!! Them prayers have the power Jen!!!!  

So everyone...have a safe and sane 4th of July.....remember to take care of your pets...it is very hard on their nerves all the firecrackers and what nots that will be going off. Remember to drink your H2O also....I know it is going to be hot today....maybe not as hot as I get out in the desert, but everything is relative!!!

Good Morning Janine and Cali, I know you will have a great day with your grand babies.  Its amazing how time flies and they are learning and doing new things.  Today Jordyn is 4 months old and she rolled over for the first time yesterday.  I can't believe that it has been that long but I love that I get this time home with her. Good morning Janine and all my cali buds - and HAPPY 4TH OF JULY TO EVERYONE..... Janine I can not wait to see the pictures of those cutie pies in their 4th of July outfits - how cute will they be anyway..... And Monica - Is it possible that Jordyn gets cuter by the day - she is such a sweetie pie - I think we should make her our official LB Coffee mascot..... Steve - I am continnuing to keep you and your brother in my prayers and hope that he is getting better each day. Everyone else - Have a great holiday and stay safe.  Not much planned for me - in fact I am not sure yet if there are any plans at all.  Just waiting to hear from my sister to see if we are going to BBQ or whats going on.  Maybe I will just stay here, spend some time at the pool, and grill myself some fish tonight - (definitely sounds healthier than going to sissys and having a burger (minus the bun) and some vino.....oh well just have to wait and see. I can't believe I actually slept until 6am this morning - wow..... So everyone have a great 4th

Good Morning ALL.....

Not much going on today. I will be heading out to
my friend, Kevin's, house soon and just hang out
last year at this time, I just had my surgery (Hernia) and
I was staying with Kevin and his mom. They took
care of me. At about 4 we went golfing. Had a great time.
This year, we are just going to hang out and do nothing.

I woke up early this day because Fresser bladder was
screaming at her, so she was screaring at me. She wont
get out of bed without me telling her its ok. Its good and
yet it bad. We got up at 6 AM. UHG!!!

OK time to think about going back to bed. YAHHH!!!

Good morning Janine and Cali and Happy 4th of July! Sammi was super happy this morning to have both Mommy and Daddy home with her when she got up. We are going to head over to my Mom's in a while and replace her deck. She'll chase Sammi, and Sam and I will work. I figure it should only take a couple hours with both of us. Later this afternoon we may head out to a BBQ. Otherwise, no plans except to spen time together. Janine - enjoy those babies! I din't get Sammi a 4th outfit this year. I think I may be able to find something in her drawer anyway. Continued prayers to all who need them. Hope everyone enjoys the day, no matter what the plan is. Sue

Happy 4th of July, everyone! Happy birthday, baby Jordyn! Happy upcoming surgi-versaries, Lori C. and Monica P.! Happy upcoming surgeries, to those (like Crysti P., Lori W., YummyMummy1, and my "surgi-sisters" plan2behealthy and Sarah141) who are soon to join the rest of you on the loser's bench! I hope everyone has a fun and safe celebration today.  My daughter Crystal and I go to my Mom's house every year. The rural neighborhood puts on this hokey "parade" where kids dress up, and some people ride their horses or turn their pickup trucks into "floats." It's an annual tradition that has gone on as long as I remember--when I was about 12 I won a blue ribbon for playing the rear end of a horse. (You try walking a mile bent over and holding on to the waist of your "friend" who just had  to be the front end!) The whole parade only lasts about five or ten minutes, and then we have brunch out on the back patio. We will also be celebrating two nephews' birthdays, and my mother's.

Then I'll come home before dark to keep an eye on my roof--people in my neighborhood have a penchant for illegal fireworks, which sometimes land in my yard, still smoldering.
