weird question but I need to ask...

I'm scheduled to have surgery next Thursday july 10th...
Is it ok if I dye my hair? Or should I wait?

I agree with Lori...girl has to look her best no matter what!

totally dye it before your surgery.  you're not going to feel like it after for a while.   i plan on getting my nails done and my hair dyed the night before i go in.

Do whatever makes you feel your best!!

I had my nails and toes done and Hair the week before did not want to think about them for a while after!!!

I already dyed mine  and I still have three weeks before surgery.  I probably should have waited another week but I couldn't stand the grey anymore   I knew I probably wouldn't feel like doing it after surgery. Best of luck to you on your surgery too Linda

I thought that you are not able to do your nails because of the nail polish???

I had my hair cut and permed last week.  I don't want to have to mess with my hair for weeks after.  wash and towel dry for me. :) Congratulations on your quick date! On the nails, No polish in th eOR at my hospital.  Calls yours and ask. :) ---jan---

I knew I was in the right direction with the issue on the nail polish.
I guess it has some kind of chemical that they think is dangerous.
Okay.... I'll waill till after surgery for color. LOL

They want to be able to see your nail beds to check for circulation. Mine did not care though.
