Good Sunday Morning!

Morning all . . . Steve . . .your brother is in my thoughts and prayers . . . just want to make suer you know that! I actually slept in until someone called me at 7:30!  (How RUDE) (not - I'm always up so that is SOP).  Even the babies are still asleep this morning - they were all out at the drive-in last night. The San Diego lunch was great yesterday - great group of people .. . lots of stories . . . .lots of fun. I walked the Zoo for 2 hours last night, mostly not stopping . . .and now I'm heading out the door for my walk with my surgeon and his office staff . . . Have a great day everyone! Chris

Janel, that tomato mozzarella sounds great.  I don't envy you working at 3am though!  Good luck on your PS! Marcia, you folks must be a lot younger than we.  Sleeping on the floor just plain hurts these days. Rebecca, Woohooo on your 5 lb loss!  It's so great to be on the scale's good side. Monica, I bet you looked great in your size 14 swimsuit!  WTG! Sue, I'm glad you're feeling better.  My neighbor has play dates for her dog.  They both love it. Jean, Aren't cat's grand  Dropping a mouse at your feet during dinner or hacking up a fur ball in the middle of the night.  Thanks again for posting the photos of the coffee meet, Lauren, What a fun care package you're sending, it will surely remind her of home and give her a few laughs.  I'm looking forward to receiving the mystery box too.  How sad your son died at such a young age. I'm still culling my "take to the hospital list" and putting things in my bag.  I know, it's a week+ away. lol  But I need to do something besides wait.  It was cold last night..50s.  We turned on the heat.  I'd be happy to send folks some cool air, this is just silly.  The cool weather helps the firemen though so that's a good thing.  They closed the local Red Cross Center here and moved it 1.5 hours north so we won't be called out to help now. DH and I are Red Cross volunteers, Coast Guard Auxiliary and ham radio operators.  We worked the Field Day contest, on the ham radio, last night and had fun contacting people.  We'll do more of that today.  Otherwise, a quiet day is in store. Hi all!
Today, gonna fill out my short term disability paper work, get my supplies post plastics in order for home, pack a bit (at least what I can) for aftercare, already took my pre-surgery measurements, gonna have my pre-surgery pics taken (SCREAM!!!), do some laundry, tidy up a bit, make another list, hopefully meet up with Janine for Java or something and then treat myself to a relaxing pedicure.

Sounds like a full day... now I'm about to jump into the pool before it gets too hot.

Good Morning Janine and Cali, I have been up cleaning this morning as Jordyn and I will be meeting my mom, her boss, bosses mom and another family friend for brunch and then they are all coming back here. Of course Jordyn and my room is still a mess but I'm okay with the rest of the house.  I told my mother she was not allowed to comment.   They will watch the baby while I do a bit of grocery shopping.  I hurt my hand and with picking Jordyn up all week it has gotten really bad.  I have a doc appt in the morning. Sounds like you had an excellent time with your new friends last night!!!!  Glad your smoking concerns worked themselves out.  I liked everyone's answers to your question......instead of my "Duh, I don't know".  That's why I love this board so much.....wonderful, honest advice.

Not much on my schedule today....my son-in-law is coming over to do a couple of little honey-do's for me.  Later this afternoon when it warms up, I'll be inside catching up on the TV shows I recorded this week and haven't had time to watch.  At least now I can fast forward through the commercials.

Good Morning Calif.....

Yap its still morning. I have been up for a long time, but just having been doing much. I wanted to go golfing,    but it seems Kevin made other plans, that do not inclued me.     (he is cleaning his boat,    because he is putting it up for sale) So I have nothing to do today. I cleaned and done the wash yesterday, so I don't even have that to do. We did go to dinner last night. We went to this place that cooks the food right there in front of you, and put on a show of types why cooking. It was fun. We went there once before with some friends after playing golf. (Janet Aka: sunkissedkid) It was fun last night, but it was much more fun with friends. I should of called them.   The food was good.   I had shimp. 12 peaces OMG!! That gosh Kevin loves shimp and he was willing to help me fini****  He had the Halbit, which was dang good also.

I just gave Fresser   a bath and now she is all wond up like spinning top,   to fliping funny to watch. She smells all pretty, now that she is all fu fu'd up. I guess I could take her for a walk    but since I ran 6 miles this morning, I don't feel like going. But never fear, I will take her out tonight. She can now walk a miles, or more.

OK will, I guess I should do something, like, take a nap. LOL

Good morning. I just dropped my two older girls off for cheerleading camp. They have been cheering for half of their lives and they just love it. This year I had to pull them off their old squad due to name calling and safety issues. I hope this new squad is good for them. I have a call in to the dr. this morning. I am having brown, thin drainage from my belly button where they did the hernia repair. It is not infected. I think the steri-strip fell off too early when I went swimming yesterday (was already cleared to do that by Dr.). I hope it is just something that I need to ride out and won't have to have any procedures to fix. Update, the Dr. just called me back. He didn't seem too concerned, but wanted to stay updated incase it gets worse. I told him I would be in San Diego tomorrow, so he said to come on by. I will feel better about it once he sees it.
