Good Sunday Morning Cali!!! It is almost 1 in the morning and can you believe this one...I just got home!!!!

I had the best time tonight. These people are great host and hostess!! The smoking issue...never came up because they went outside without us ever having to say a word. Now how cool and considerate is that one?

Now here is the real shocker....Jeff Mister quiet himself...OMG not only talked, but when they busted out with karaoke....HE SANG! Never in all the years I have been with Jeff have I heard him sing! He sang good too!!

Swear we had so much fun...good people, good food, lots of laughs. They're about 6 years older than us, but it did not seem to be an issue....can you believe I met Elieen in the neighborhood grocery store? Sometimes I guess you are suposed to meet people. I hope this is the beginning of a cool friendship!

So tell me/us...what is on your agenda for the day? I am sure I am not going to be up in the middle of the night as I am exhausted. I might sleep until the sun rises...that is novel! If all goes well I am going to go to the waterpark with a friend....that will be cool...soak up rays and water!

Steve...I have not seen you post.....please keep Steve, his brother and family in your prayers!!!

Have a great day everyone!!!!

PEACE OUT!!!! Biker Babe

PS...Sue...I still have thorns in my hand....it does not hurt as much and I am sure eventually they will come out. Thanks for asking....I just kept forgetting to answer....I have short term memory sometimes!

Good Morning! Just got home from work, and am drinking a glass of wine, and eating a tomato mozarella sandwich that Starbucks sells.......they are sooooo good! I would have been home a bit earlier, but one of our partners cut her finger and I had to bandage her up, and fill out an incident report, so closing the store took a bit longer tonight. Let's see, after I wake up, I am going to church (hopefully, if I get up in time!), and then I really have no plans other than to maybe go to lunch with my sister and nieces, then just try and catch up on some much needed lost sleep! I start at my new store Monday morning, bright and early.....I have to be at work at 3:45 am!!!  I'm getting sooooooooooo excited as my ps date gets closer....Aug 8th....Lower body lift, and brachioplasty.....done at Cosmed clinic in Mexico. Just talked to the surgeon today, Dr Quiroz, who runs the clinic. I honestly feel as comfortable with him as I did with my bariatric surgeon. I cannot wait to start the body contouring stage of this journey....very fun! Off to bed............

Hubby is asleep on the floor adter the slast segment of the show.. I have been up and down twice for drinks of water. I added a half of sleeping pill to my last sip...maybe that will help.

Good Morning,
I don't know how to explain why I'm up so early. I may just go back to bed.  Last night I went to a pool party. One of my girlfriends is house sitting and got permission to have a small party. It was a beautiful house with a pool and a jacuzzi.

For the first time I was enjoying the pool is just my swim suit (size 14, thank you very much). No shorts, no t-shirt, no cover-up and I got in and out of the pool with almost no hang-ups or insecurity. (Although, I would like to get my thighs some plastic surgery one day.)

I saw the gang at Long Beach coffee too. Everyone looks fantastic and my pictures won't be up until Monday when I get back to work.

Enjoy the remainder of the weekend!

Good morning janine and Cali! Glad to hear the hand doesn't hurt. Hopefully the rest of the thorns will work their way out quickly and painlessly. Also, so cool for this couple to make you more comfortable with the smoke and just go outside. Very considerate for sure. Sounds like you had a blast. I can honestly say I finally feel better. I'm not sure I'm a 100% yet but I definately feel WAY better. It's been a long road and I plan on staying good and healthy for a long time now.. Yesterday was a great day. We took Sammi out for breakfast then we brought the left overs home, loaded Kandy dog in the car and headed for the no leash beach. When we got there we met this really nice family that had a lab too. the puppies played really good together chasing the ball into the water and romping. We exchanged numbers so we can do it again sometime. Hadn't really ever thought I would be setting up puppy play dates. After that it was off to the car wash then in the Wal-Mart parking lot they had a safety awareness thing set up and all the local fire, police etc were there handing out stickers and colors and stuff. Smokey the bear and Sparky the fire dog were there. Needless to say Sammi HATES those types of costumes and won't even walk by them. There were a couple of times we had to go around. I guess that's pretty common with little ones. After that it was nap time and then a quiet evening in.  Today is all the usual errands, Albertsons and Wally World and maybe a load of laundry. No other plans so we will take the day as it comes. Hope everyone enjoys the day! Sue

Good morning Janine and all my cali buds Well finally I was able to sleep until after the sun came up....I actually slept until 6:30..woo hoo....those 3:30 mornings were getting old.  Of course I was up about 1am because one of my darling little "kids" (cat) decided to yack up a fur ball....oh thank you for being so kind as to do that in the bedroom...so I had to make sure and get it cleaned up...I know TMI... Anyway, yesterday was great - lots of fun at coffee as usual.  Today I am going to venture out to the farmers market to get in a walk and some fresh produce then maybe hit the pool later today. Other than that, not much else going on with me. Everyone have a great Sunday....

Hey Jean Thanks again for the clothes.  I brown printed dress already fits but would perfect with a slimmer.  I might have to wear it the first day of school.  The two tops with the lace up fronts also fit but its a bit hot or long sleeves.  The others will be insentive pieces Monica

Good Morning Janine and all the Cali Crew!  Good Morning  Looks like it is going to be another sunny, very warm day here in the foothills. It was nicely toasty here yesterday and I worked up a sweat mowing the lawns and working in the yard.  Mowing The Lawn Sweating 2  As I went to see Bob in the hospital in the morning I didn't get started on my chores until after 1pm so the heat was on by then. These days that's OK for me... it's all good 236 pounds lighter than two summers ago!    Thumbs Up So Bob was able to have dialisis yesterday morning and the labs drawn in the afternoon were decent. The kidney doctor decided to not do dialisis today based on that report and scheduled the next one for Monday. He wants to get a reading with todays labs and see if Bob's kidney function might be improving. His lung functions are OK and with with the oxygen he is getting he is staying at a decent blood oxygen level. The chest tube is causing him the most discomfort at this point and I'm hoping that will be able to be taken out by tomorrow as I know he will feel better when that happens. So, bottom line, he is in critical, but stable, condition. Still hour by hour, day by day and I pray nothing else goes wrong to cause a setback. Once again I wish to thank everyone who has sent me messages of support and concern. My family said to say thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts for us. It is much appreciated. D and I are off to see "Wall-E" this morning and then over to Bob's apartment to go through the fridge and clean out the perishables and feed and water his parrot. This afternoon we'll visit Bob and see how he is doing today. Wishing everyone here a blessed and fun Sunday!  Big Hug Hugs And Kisses Kisses

Good Morning Janine and Cali,

Janine, I am so happy you and Jeff had such a fantatsic time last night!

I hope that everyone had a great Saturday.  The air was a lot clearer here in Yuba City yesterday. Perry and I didn’t do a lot of anything. Our youngest daughter is at her dad’s house up in the mountains this weekend and will be home on Monday. We did do a little shopping for our oldest girl who is in Germany. Her camp director called me at work and said “Is this Lauren Cole, legal guardian of Larisa?” I about fainted. Anyway, they have a special care package program that they ask the families to participate in about midsummer as the Camp Adventure members start to get home sick. They ask for us to send things that will remind Larisa of home.  We bought some of her favorite things like Swedish Fish, the new Weezer CD, a wind up Stegosaurus (she loves them) and a few other things. I took pictures of the front of the house, her car, parked in the driveway, with a note on it from the car saying “I miss you crashing me Larisa!” She has had a couple fender benders. I also took a picture of Gladys, our Basset hound lounging on Larisa's bed. Gladys will be sending a note along with it saying that since Larisa has been gone, she has found a new bed to sleep on. Larisa has been having a wonderful time when she isn’t working, visiting Munich, the Netherlands and next weekend, Italy.

Today, I will be getting out of here early to have a pedicure and my nails done and then home to watch NASCAR.  My husband and I are avid fans. I always thought it was stupid but I love it now.

Today is the 28th anniversary of my son’s death. It seems just like yesterday, some days though.  A trip to the cemetery will be in the afternoon. I always have a new pinwheel to place on his grave. He was almost 7 when he drown in a nearby lake. My mom is buried with him, so flowers and a pinwheel.

Steve, I have been sending good thoughts and prayers for you, your brother and family. It sounds like things are looking up.

I am looking forward to the Mystery Box arriving at my home soon!

I hope everyone has an awesome Sunday.

Lauren
