Good Morning Janine and Cali, Wow this has not been the first week of vacation I wanted.  Luckily there are plenty more.  Today Jordyn and I will go to coffee and then run a couple of errands.  I have to finish my last assignment for my online class and then get the house straighten for company my mom has coming over tomorrow.   Later i'm having a bit of company myself, but mostly just hope some time to kick back. WELL IT FEELS LIKE IT'S GOING TO BE A MUGGY ONE TODAY. NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT BUT STAY IN THE HOUSE AND SOAK UP THE AIR. I HAVE A TERRIBLE COUGH FOR SOME REASON, DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHERE IT CAME FROM.

I'M SO HAPPY THAT YOU GET TO HAVE A LITTLE MISS AVA TIME. LIKE ALL THE OTHERS I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HER MASTER PIECES. YOU KNOW THERE GOING TO BE GREAT AS SHE TAKES AFTER GRANDMA.

ISN'T IT GREAT HOW BABIES AND PUPPIES CAN HELP BREAK THE ICE AND  HELP US TO FORM WHAT COULD BE LASTING WONDERFUL RELATIONSHIPS. I HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME THIS EVENING WITH YOUR NEW FRIENDS.

AS FOR ME I HAVE TO PLANT SOME MORE MINI ROSES. I JUST LOVE THOSE THINGS. THE HEAT DID A REAL NUMBER ON MY GARDEN, BUT I AM PAMPERING THEM AND HOPING THEY WILL COME BACK TO LIFE.

Good Morning (.......my bad - Afternoon!)  Just looked at the clock.  After a week of go, go, go, go I slept in until 8:00 am!  We still have Jayden - and will keep him until the 12th.  We were to meet mom yesterday, but the road is still closed due to fire and since we were going to pick him up again on the 3rd, dad and mom chatted and worked it out.  We went out garage sale-ing but didn't come up with anything interesting.  Now, amazingly, it's nap time.  Staying indoors because the air quality is sooooo poor here. 

Good Morning California !!! I'm new here, but would like to get in on the fun.  I'm from Sacramento, CA.  I had RNY Sept 24, 2007........and I'm doing GREAT!!  I've had no problem with anything.........well I am beginning to look lik a shar-pei.......other than that I'm okie dokie. So yea, my name is Colleen, no childern......so no grand childern; but I do have neice and nephews with childern........neice and I very close, so I guess I' a  Grand Auntie............Guess I'm not missing out on too much fun than. I'm sorry I don't know Steve, or the situation; however, I'll light a candle and send postive and healing engery.   Today, well I'm just hanging around the house, checking my le-mail and sites, doing chores.......... you know, the American Dream.........    Since I'm so new, I'm kinda "lurk around"  if that's OK? Well, take care everyone..............Try to s tay out of the smoke................ and I'll check in later         

I just happened to be around and wanted to welcome you to the Cali boards!!! Wow you are almost a year out too! How cool is that? And don't you mind not having grandkids or anything...grand aunties are just as cool!

Really a bummer about all the fires in NorCal....I know nature has its own way, but 800+ fires...ridiculous!! I am a former Bay Area gal transplanted to the desert 8 years ago myself.

Steve is a great guy and I am sure his bro is too...you know the apple does not fall far from the tree. I do hope that the next time we hear from Steve it will be good news and I know he appreciates all the good juju sent his families way!

HI Everyone! Steve, hope your brother keeps getting better throughout the week.  I'm sorry you've been on such a roller coaster. {{{{{{{{ Steve }}}}}}}} Happy anniversary Sue! I'm getting a late post in.  Was at a friend's all day chatting up a storm about my upcoming surgery.  I'm getting nervous now that I have an actual date.  I know it's the right thing.  I packed some of the things I want to take with me. It's still smoky here though it's cooler and not much wind. That gives the firemen a better chance to control the fires.  The Red Cross closed the shelter near here.  Not enough people came so they moved it north to Fort Bragg. I hope you all have a great weekend. ---jan---
