thanks for reposting this!!! I was thinking about this today....

If you're thinking about signing up and have some reservations, please give it a shot!

A 5k is only a little bit more than 3 miles and if you walk it at a moderate pace you can finish in about an hour.  People of all ages, sizes and abilites show up and it really is a wonderful feeling of community.  There are no stares or funny looks, everyone just wants to run/walk and have fun.

If you have questions, please don't hesitate to post them here or contact me via PM.

Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."
