Things you find......
A little levity, if you will.
Things you find while doing laundry for the male of the species!
Big boys - carpenter pencils, a pocket knife, 6 nails, a few screws, a tiny chunk of rebar (???) and only 5 socks. (yes, the man started the laundry, did not check pockets and mixed work clothes and socks) And some jingly change, all smaller than a quarter.
Little boys are far more interesting! 2 pieces of leggo; 5 wrappers; 1 chewed up, bent up straw, a small volkswagon (ok, so it was less than 1" long); 3 rocks, 6 bottle caps, an empty box for caps for the cap-gun, and a red and green rubber frog. And 65 cents.
Granted each individual only put 3 pair of pants in the laundry, but it delivers quite the interesting array of items. Wish there was more money. Rule at my house - if you find money in the tub, it's yours!
It's finally cool enough to take a long walk. Off I go!

Oh I hear you on the laundry findings. I keep a jar in the cabinet over the washer that I put the change in. It used to be my Baskin & Robins money...now, it goes to the 'clothing fund'!
I do hate it when someone/anyone leaves a tissue in a pocket and I don't catch it!!!! ugh, what a mess!
enjoy your walk. It's too smoky here to be outside. I'm headed to the mall to walk. (or maybe shop)Lisa
