6 month surgiversary!

Please join me in celebrating me being 6 months post-op!!!  Just an update on my progress throughout my jouney so far!!! December 26th- Scared but ready for a huge change in my life and lifestyle!  Weighing in at 286 lbs I definetely needed a change! Right now i'm 200 lbs and things are going very well!  The Dr. couldn't be happier with my blood-work, and while my weight-loss has slowed considerably, i'm already down 86 lbs and feeling wonderful!   We are moving to spain in 8 days and will be walking everywhere!!!  I know the lbs will shed off quickly and help give me a push to get me more active! I have gone from a size 26 (very tight) to 14-16's!!!   Heres to 6 more great months!!!!!

Congratulations. I am one month ahead of you and have lost about the same. I haven't lost anything in a month, but I've noticed I can eat more and it goes through MUCH faster. Bummer deal. Now I get to do all the work on my own. I just moved to Central California and am looking forward to becoming aquainted with the members here. Jen

Hey Jen... May I ask what made you move from God's country to the armpit of California??  LOL  Don't get me wrong...I am loving it here- but Washington has a close place to my heart... Where in Central Cali are you??  Was it a military move?   Don't mind me....just being nosey and wanted to wish you a hearty welcome to hell on earth.  You ready for those triple digits??? If you are close to the Fresno area~~or nearby, I am going to try to set a lunch up or something for probably August.  Stay tuned!! Welcome! Vicki

I am so excited for your move, I would imagine you have moved a few times in the military. Safe journey and an awesome time in Spain I wish for you and your family. I hope you continue to post on the CALI board while in Spain. We love to keep up and see pictures and read stories.
