Good Morning Calif....

I have been MIA for a few days, because my computer was being snotty, and for some reason it would not hold a charge. Did you know that it wont charge, if it's not pluged in? How it got un- pluged, I don't know. I think Fresser done it. Yap that is what I think happened. She likes to sleep under the table there and she digs a hole in her little bed everytime. That is my story, and I am sticking to it. It was MoMo who told me I should make sure it was pluged in. I found it some time last night.

I have not done much to tell ya all about. Slept most of monday, went to dinner with some friends, on tuesday I went to the mall with a friend. Check this out, did you know they have pet stores in the mall WITH pets in them? I didn't. Yesterday, I didn't do much other then take my sister to her week 7 class at kaiser. She lost 5.5 pounds. 27 pounds to go for her. She is doing so great, I am very proud of her.

Nothing happening today, just work, and my run. That's it.

But do you see that bright light? That is called THE WEEKEND!! its so close, you can almost touch it, smell it, and feel it. So what do you have planned for the weekend? I don't have anything planned yet. I think I might have to work a few hours this saturday, but will see after talking to my super today. Maybe not.

Good Morning Lu and the rest of our Calif Friends! I'm glad you were able to get a "Charge!"  hehehehe  I know I go through the same with my laptop so that's why 99% of the time I'm on the PC. Not much going on for me.........FIL came into town and stayed the night. He's on his way to Beaver, OR for his 50th high school reunion!  Wow! I didn't know they still had them 50 years out. Tomorrow is my appointment with the surgeon for my biopsy on my left breast.  I feel better after talking to my sister and her telling me how they did it on her.  I'm sure I'm ok.............no history in my family, thank goodness. I'm also still waiting on to hear if I am approved or not for WLS.  Tomorrow will be a week since I gave everything to Dr. Machado's office.  I'm still praying, and hoping, hoping and praying that I too can become a LOSER!!!  There sure are a lot of people getting approved lately!!!  Maybe that's a good sign!   Luana and all the Cali Crew! It's really Thursday huh? Glad to hear that! Been a weird week for me, especially yesterday. Started off the day forgetting my lunch and being angry at myself when I walked in the door at work. Then the first e-mail on my computer there was from my favorite outside sales rep saying goodbye as our Regional Sales Manager just called him to tell him he was laid off (third outside sales rep for our region let go so far this year) and that pissed me off AND depressed me. I asked my boss about it right away and she didn't know about the lay off and called our Regional Sales Manager and he confirmed. I don't know where this is all going, we lost one Inside Sales Rep in our call center and the rest of us are pretty nervous about things at this point. Ended up being busy for a change yesterday when I get a call from my brother at 2:30 saying he needed me to take him to the ER to get a bed at the hospital. WTF? Our doc had been trying to get him admitted all week as he has terrible fluid build up again, couldn't breath and was in great distress but they couldn't arrange a bed for him. I left work and drove to his place and when I walked in he looked like he was on deaths doorstep. His belly was so bloated and distended it was shocking. The worst I have seen it. It was a slow process for him to get dressed and ready to go. We had to take his big Chevy truck as he wouldn't have been able to get into my little Tacoma. Got him to St. Bernardines here just before 4:30 and they took him right in. Called our doc to let them know we were there. After an hour and a half I asked about him and was let into the ER to see and talk to him. They were preparing to admit him and hoped to get him tapped and drain the fluid maybe last night, if not then today. At least there he could get oxygen to breath. We decided there was no reason for me to stay so I drove his truck to my place to park it here. Darrell and I then headed back to my brothers place in Ontario to check his apartment and make sure the windows were closed and locked and his parrot had food and water and I got my truck and we drove home. Got back here close to 8. I had a couple of stiff drinks and a late dinner of chef salad. Off to bed and now it is Thursday morning! Hoping my day today has much less drama! Looking forward to the weekend.... Oh, yeah, the weekly total for WWW was -39.13 guys... a great effort! The yearly total is really adding up kids!    Sorry to make a book out of this post but I guess I needed to vent a little this morning! Wishing you, and all the Cali Crew, a TerrificThursday Lu!!! I am REALLY looking forward to TGIF this week!

Dont you ever say sorry for "venting" when you need to get it off your chest, this is the place to do so. You know that. IF you hold it in, it could cause you problems later on.

I do wish you a better day, and  I hope you brother is feeling much better today.

Hey LuLu...was wondering what happened to you...I am having computer problems too ever since I installed that Norton 360. What a piece of crap!

I was hoping that you would have come out here the other day...would have loved to hang out, but I guess it was not in the cards....you crabby girl...went back to the shell eh?

Anywho....thanks for starting the thread....I didn't get up because I thought Jill would do it. OH btw....you know that guy who was interested in Booger? Well he is a flake and never called my son back. My son called him and he asked if Booger has papers which he does and he said he would call back in 15 minutes and Scott never heard from him...Scott was kind of like WTF.....can you see what happened?

  

I hate nortons, use to always crash our pc's......then we found a program that did better than nortons or symantecs and was free....glad I don't have to use anything now with my mac......

Hey J -  Norton SUCKS! I've heard of more people having issues with it than anything else. I've found AVG is really good and they have a free version that I've been using for years.
