Free Costco samples!!

Does anyone know where this is headed??  Yeh...America, the God-given right & freedom to be stupid.  Went to Costco today.  Two of my biggest downfalls pre WLS were Costco samples and smorgasborg/buffets.  I tried almost everything they had to offer today.  Add to that strong coffee pre and post Costco.  You know what can be worse than dumping?  Not dumping.  Stomach churning but I'm ok now (10 hours later).  Just because something is free (and food costs have risen so much) doesn't mean it is wise and useful.  I feel like a teenager making stupid mistakes.  Brian

we're all human and we all make mistakes.  don't beat yourself up.  just remember to walk a little faster when you see the people bearing free food next time! 

OMG!!  Brian, I could have written this myself, all but the coffee!  Why do those samples taste so darn good, but when I buy the big box, they suddenly turn nasty tasting.  I am talking more about my boys.  They always beg me to get "it" cause "it" tastes so good, but when we get home, it ends up freezer burned in the freezer cause they decided they didn't like "it" so much anymore!!

The one thing I love about the samples Post-op is its a complete meal, 2-3 samples and poof full and ready to go.

Doug and I were hungry as hell last Sat when we went.  I choose very carefully what I snack on, but all I know, is that when I left, there was no need for lunch.  I love going there for all the free food, but I know my limit.  I have problems with peanuts, I don't know when to stop eating them, and I end up with those tummy aches......hard to teach an old dog new tricks.
